Damn us writers get no love it seems lol

I will try to read the stories later, I had a rough night at work.

Damn! I'm gonna have fun reading the other entries.

Mad props to godofwine for promoting this and to the Mods for hitting it with the sticky.:yes::yes:

Yeah, props to the mods, too for giving us a sticky for a little while. It kinda sucks if we're the only ones who end up voting, though. At the very least I hope a few other people get to read and like the stories, or even better, give us feedback. Feedback is always awesome. Gonna give these a read now.

Only two votes? :(

Hopefully after I do some homework and hair I can change that.

I know. I haven't had a chance 2to read any, yet. Will get to it as soon as the Browns start losing tomorrow ...which should not take long

C'mon people!

I've read all of them.

They're all solid.

If this was some gossip thread heads would've made this 10 pages already.

Mad props to Melonpecan for stepping up to the plate to see what's up. Next time (if you can) take part in the competition as I'm sure heads would like to see horror/sci-fi/fantasy fiction written from a females perspective. (I know I would.)

We always crying about the lack of representation in Hollywood and shit but when some people get it together to put finger to keyboard on some creative shit no one peeps! :smh:

Here's my story.

Stalk, Stalk, Stalk, Stalk. Stalk!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stab, Stab, Stab, Stab, Stab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bleed, Bleed, Bleed, Bleed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Killed, Killed, Killed, Killed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to read whatever you may have written in the past as well as whatever you get to work on in the near future.

Writers gotta stay creating and appreciating the art.:yes:

I'ma check it out right quick.:yes:

EDIT: Just peeped and realized that it was one of the entries in one of the previous writing competitions.

You had some really good ideas in that story that could really do with developing into something really big.

If you need help, support or any pointers let me know.

I just read one of these and, damn. There is some real talent here, no bullshit. I was caught up from start to finish. Dude. I spotted some punctuation issues, mostly lack of commas which led to run-on sentences, but I was thoroughly impressed.

I have two more to check out

You know I think a lot of that is a consequence of the time restraint, which in itself was a large part of the fun for me. I'm sure other feel the same way. It was a test of figuring out where and what to sacrifice. It's funny though, that as I now have time to edit mine, it's a lot smoother than the version here. The challenge of it all is second only to the fun of reading the other stories.

Yes, it was a rushed thing but also fun to have such a deadline.
I realized also that I do work better under a deadline constraint.

By the way this 3 way tie is killing me lol.

I started mine from Maelstrom's contest last year, but it was never finished so I wanted to give those who had started from that contest a chance to finish theirs. After reading what I had written last year, I just started all the way over. It is amazing how much my writing has grown since last year. I showed this entry to a teacher I showed my Grizzly story to and she said the same thing. I'm STILL beaming.

I still have Party of the Year to read, but the other two were amazing. How can we have 350+ views and only 10 votes? I haven't voted, yet, but I will today after reading the last entry.

Oh, shit! I gotta get to work.

I rushed mine as well but still had a blast writing it though.

Shown it to a couple of people and have gotten really good feedback.

The 3 way tie is funny though.
