you think he'll be back with Del Rio ??? I mean why do all those promos hyping up his return if he's just going to be someone's do boy ??? They didn't hype up Mason Ryan at all I think
Years back they hyped up Batista when they were bringing him to Raw after he was D'Von's "deacon" on Smackdown and as soon as he came over he ended up under HHH in Evolution.Way for him to get on TV and get heat without them going out of their way to come up with something for him which the writers aren't good at anyway.

First Ezekiel Jackson (then they dropped the ball), then Mason Ryan (who wasn't ready) and then Mark Henry (finally got it right).I think he's done. Unless he pulls a Sheamus/Punk and re-signs, I expect him at an independent near you. He should try to get some Japanese bookings to learn how to work without all the acrobatics if he ever wants to be seen as a top guy instead of just an entertaining midcarder.
Punk beat Miz and Truth. Seriously. They were doing so well building "Awesome Truth" and they just lost a handicap match.
Question for WWE Creative: seeing how Cena gets such a split reaction due to his being booked as the invulnerable "SuperCena", do you really want to create a "SuperPunk"?

It's worked to a degree but it had the potential to be one of those angles (Punk vs Cena, I mean) that would elevate both guys and bring some fans back. Now it's business as usual and at times, worse.
Kurt Angle is crazy but, unlike Hogan, he's really out to help TNA

The Tv title situation is one on the many things wrong with TNA right now. I had no problem with Eric Young when he was a heel and he did a pretty good job while giving out those banned pile drivers. They made Young into a comedy act from being a decent midcard heel. TNA needs to have someone pull a Cody Rhodes with the TV title have give it some prestige. There's to much real talent on the roster for the midcard title to be nothing more that a side show.
I agree that they need to add some prestige to the title but they can do that and leave Eric as a comedy babyface. He's good at it and he's a damn good wrestler. Just let him wrestle wrestlers and stop with the skits of his wrestling tv stars.
They had a chance to give that title some real shine when AJ and Doug Williams were feuding for it and they had another chance to put over Gunner if they had let him and Eric have some good matches on Impact! but in each case they chose not to.
It's really not that hard to do so I don't see why they don't do it. Dusty and Tully used to fight over the NWA TV title like it was the World title and it was the number three belt.
Don't forget the Booker T & Chris Benoit series.
Hell yeah, some shit WCW did right to the letter (how great was that when they added Finlay to the mix?) that WWE's been trying to copy for years.
That elevated Booker to the point where people could see him as a top tier guy and not just a tag guy. They could do that with a number of guys on the lower end of the card in TNA.
I wouldn't say that. It started after Eddie Guerrero's death in 2005. The total pro wrestling business went downhill from there. MMA has skyrocketed.
Morrison could of been World Champion. Vince has truely lost touch with the business.

I don't mind Storm winning the title but to do it with no build and in this way makes it anti-climatic,feel bogus and makes his title reign an uphill battle from jump.For instance, the way that the match ended Sunday Roode should have been given the first title match not Storm.Now if they had done a post match beatdown that left Roode injured this would have made sense.Besides this feels like a ripoff of ROH and what they did with the American Wolves Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards but without even half the amount of time and build that that angle had.

It doesn't matter. Management is happy with the company being the way it is. After James Storm they are going to give the belt to Jeff Hardy. They think they can draw money with Jeff being the champion.
He's not. He has the potential but a world champ has to be good as a face or heel and Morrison is damn dull as a face and he still needs to work on being a good wrestler without all the highspots, the same way Shawn Michaels had to slow down and learn how to work before he became champ.
I wouldn't say "no build", they have built it subtly with Storm rising at the same time as Roode but with Roode in front. It looks like the idea was going to be Roode wins and eventually wrestles Storm. When they had Angle and Storm wrestle to a no-decision on Impact! a couple weeks ago, it was a sign they had something else in mind for Storm.
That would be good and a basic wrestling angle considering the promo ability of Roode and Storm. The problem I have with it is they already have a "Fortune vs Fortune" feud going on right now with AJ and Daniels. But Russo is good (in a bad way) of having the same angle running with different guys at the same time (remember when AJ and Kurt were having a feud over a woman at the same time Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt were feuding over a woman?).
Yeah, Hogan fucked it up by first letting everyone know he likes James Storm and then by fucking up the match and finish of the Roode/Angle match. He telegraphed the Storm victory. I'm happy for Storm, he deserves it but he also deserves the big months long build up that Roode got and not the sideways shit they gave him.
