It was a good movie.... By the way the Red Scull didnt die.

No disrespect to BenQ but sometimes I read his comments and dude is just not capable of following certain shows/movies...he thinks Spartacus is better than Game of Throne...an opinion which he is def entitled too but @ the same time kinda speaks volumes

Any person who constantly says it was too much dialogue, you take their opinion with a grain of salt :smh:

The guy prefers predator 2 over 1, that tells you all you need to know.

I stopped taking his opinions seriously when he made that thread a couple years back.

Spartacus and Game of thrones were two different genres its difficult to compare them, or rate them together.

No...not @ all....how exactly are they diff genres...I would fit them both as dramas...one is action-adventure the other is adventure-fantasy but not so far off as to be considered diff genres imo...it's not like I'm comparing Seinfeld to Breaking Bad...now that would rep 2 diff genres

his costume was dumb but i thought it was one of the better ones. what didnt you like about it?

Pretty much. It could've been a lot better but I can't think of many BAD aspects of the movie. I'd give it about a 7.5 / 10 myself and thought it was pretty good and def watchable. Better then a lot of other superhero movies I think. Only things that sucked was no other Avengers / superheros and only Red Skull punk ass, plus how quickly Cap turned to a beast. Other then that though good movie.

First off...leave Howard the Duck alone!

Nah fam hands down the worst comic movie is a tie between the Green hornet and that abortion of 2 hrs of my life.....Green Lantern:puke:

Green Hornet was Funny tho.

Out of this years crop I'd say Captain was the worst for the simple fact he did nothing overly special the entire movie, except kill 'evil nazis.' At least in Lantern he displayed his powers somewhat.

That was the original Captain America. All of these super heroes started out as the moral booster of the country during WWII.

Was Elektra better than Daredevil cuz I still have yet to see that?

I was gonna answer this but it seems it has been answered... :puke:

 I was being sarcastic...I've never seen it but I know a godawful stinker when I see one...I was just tryna keep things in perspective the way dudes was going off on Daredevil and the FF movies (all 3 of which I liked...not great but they were decent watches)...the only decent looking comic book movie that I haven't seen yet is Hellboy...I never read the comic so I can't bring myself to watch the movie...and yes I remember Spawn :smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh: and the other shitty movies on that list  @ Howard the Duck didn't the bitch fuck him or @ least got it bed w/ him...?:puke:
Yes she fucked a 4 foot duck from another dimenson!:lol: I was very young when this came out and I knew then that it was bullshit!

Yeah Hellboy was good:yes:

Any person who constantly says it was too much dialogue, you take their opinion with a grain of salt :smh:

This all day. People that complain about Dialogue in one movie are like wtf is the dialogue in the next. Aint no pleasin some people.

I agree with most of this and I had forgotten some of these movies (thankfully, so we're now beefing because you made me remember:angry:).
But I liked FF:Rise of the Silver Surfer and thought Ghost Rider was a horrible movie. No chemistry between the leads and shitty villains and inconsistent...everything (does the fire burn or not? Sometimes it did and other times it didn't).
Daredevil had a bad beginning and bad ending but the middle section of the movie was actually pretty good.

But "Blade" wasn't considered or marketed as a comic book movie, but as a horror/action movie, similar to 30 Days of Night.
:lol:Sorry fam, I know I tried to block out a lot of these films too!

FF2 was a disappointment to me. They really didn't know how to bring Galactus to the screen, and they handled the Silver Surfer wrong (one of my favorite Marvel characters)

Ghost Rider main flaw was the tacked on love story, and the main villian.

This is Blackheart

Not the Emo crap with Wes Bentley and the Elementals boy band he had with him in the film

The thing I didn't like about "Daredevil" was that they did not show him being trained by Stick. Kind of would have liked if he had started out with the original uniform

and then worked himself into the current uniform.

You are correct about "Blade". It was not marketed as a comic book movie. And since it was based on a somewhat obscure C-list Marvel character there would be no harm done if it was to bomb. But after seeing how well it did, then Marvel decided to do "X-Men" in 2000.

Flick was cool...didn't expect much from this or X-Men: 1st Class but they both surprised me...I'd give it a 7/7.5 decent flick...they did a good job of not making him and Red Skull look cheesy as fuck @ 'I had a date'...really? Better than Thor/Green Lantern although that's not saying much...I never really followed Cap in the comics even though I remember Bucky being a teenager and how he really died in the comics and shit but was Steve Rogers from BK in the comics...lemme find out  dude was reppin Brooklyn hard...oh shit the credits just finished  ya I'm a bit more hyped now for the Avengers movie although I still don't like their choices for Thor and Hawkeye

It was a crappy and cheesy period movie. The upcoming Three Musketeers looks way better (original story was written by a black man, the Brothers Grimm were also black).

so you was posting all up in this thread and you havent even seen the movie till now :hmm:

I'm not a comic book fan, but this bullshit was better than

1. The Dark Knight
2. Thor
3. Iron Man II

...all three of which sucked balls.

Of course, The Green Lantern doesn't bear mentioning. That shit was a crime against cinema.

Dumas was barely Black and the Grimm brothers weren't Black at all. :smh:

cap was great... if you think that bullshit Spartacus is better than Game Of Thrones it pretty much sums it up for me...your opinion on all media is useless.:smh::smh::smh:

:smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: :cmonson:

That movie was great. It was either the best or second best superhero movie of the summer. It got an ovation in the sold out theatre I saw it in and I've rarely seen that happen (happened with the X-Men movie this year too).
There's always a vocal minority that won't like something so I'm not surprised.

Co-sign. That small minority are always an interesting bunch. There is also a small minority that thinks Godfather is a bad and boring film (about 2 of them are in this forum).
