Dumb angle but I also like phat asses in spandex.Starting at the 1:35 mark

The part that sucks is that Naomi should have been on the main roster by now. She's better than 95% of the divas on Raw and Smackdown right now.She damn sure better than the likes of Kaitlyn,Rosa Mendez and Kelly Kelly.

I would like to see Naomi get promoted to the Divas division. She has more potential than Alicia Fox as a black diva in WWE IMO.

Cosign .... only if she brings the spandex pants and phat ass with her. You know WWE likes to put these chick on crazy weight lost programs and dress them in ridiculous outfits.

I think that that is part of the WWE's thinking and mentality and that's a problem. Not that they prefer Alicia Fox over Naomi but that there needs to be the "black diva" in their eyes instead of them simply making sure that the main roster has solid wrestlers who also happen to be attractive instead of attractive females who can do a couple of moves and hopefully more than just a couple of moves which is the primary reason why matches like the one on Raw Monday suck.

Black talent is what makes some black fans tune in. We must see ourselves on television. Honestly I watched wrestling and most of my all time faves are white guys but for the average black fan they just want to see themselves in the ring just like they see themselves in other tv shows.

This is why I keep a close eye on how blacks are potrayed and used in the wrestling business. I am still waiting for a black character that is good in ring, great talker, cunning and resourceful, can be a great heel or face and please don't say the Rock:rolleyes:. White characters like this are common in wrestling but black characters are either super vanilla faces or the despised sometimes stereotypical black heel. I want a character like T'Challa in the wrestling business.

A couple of things. First off, I want to thank you for showing me that video. Naomi got a bad ass body. But man how the fuck she doing shit like this now? And that's not anything against her but damn what kind of fuck boy gimmick is that? I'm not too familiar with FCW but is that just where the cheesy gimmicks adn angles stay or do they ever make it to the main roster with that shit? I wonder why she hasn't made it on to the main roster yet?

That being said, she was wearing them pants.....goh damn. And when she started shakin' her ass.....Maynnnnn.

No pull out. :smh:

I get that but I still have a prolem that Alicia Fox and Naomi were discussed earlier like it's an either/or proposition when both should be on the main roster right now. There was a storly last year that officials didn't bring Naomi up because she was too good and that it would create heat with some of the other divas.I don't know if that's true but if it is WTF? How can you limit somebody and blame somebody for being good at what they're supposed to do? A year from now I would love to see Layla,Alicia Fox,Kharma and Naomi all up on the main roster but truthfully I'm confident that Rima from Tough Enough will be a regular on WWE TV before Naomi.

The WWE is too selective in many opinion with who they push. They don't seem to care who fans react to,who can give a 5 star match they only care about who fits their mold unless by some chance the person beccomes a money maker for them i.e. Zach Ryder.Percy Watson engaged the audience better than anybody on his season of NXT except Kaval and Husky Harris.None of them fit the WWE prototype so right now Watson shows up on NXT ocassionally Harris is back in FCW and Kaval is out of the company while guys like Michael McGillicutty and Alex Riley who didn't illicit that kind of reaction ar on the main roster. One given a tag reign and the other put with the champ to get over and that's backwards as hell.MVP could have been that heel but he got the company pissed at him and jobbed the fuck out.

If not him then who?

Serious Cena is just as lame because i can't take him seriously with all that preaching he does.

Rock did Hogan a favor because Hogan was a forgotten man at that point so i don't see how he put Rock over:confused:

I don't think there is anymore because fans don't think like that anymore. It's just another tv show for most fans now. Until his slight demotion, I would have had Miz as the most disliked but no one is hated anymore like they used to be.

:smh::smh::smh::smh:
Damn, I used to like Tomko during his run with Christian and AJ Styles in TNA

He was so good during that run. Tomko and AJ are one of the best but most unsung tag teams of recent years. I thought TNA had a chance to make him a huge babyface but they dropped the ball.

- Jim Ross wrote the following on his Twitter page last night regarding his status with WWE:

"Let's get something straight. I hired Laurinaitis in WWE when he had NO job. I helped him prep 4 his job & I remained an EVP in another dept

I'm not going to Smackdown or PPVs. I'm done as best that I know. Might do some Roundtable type stuff. My services aren't required weekly.

1 more time..I'm fired from wk'ly tv. Our products are still being sold at WWEshop.com because it's good business. Thx 4 support."

:smh: What was the purpose of doing that shit to him, really? You could have let him in on it and he still would have sold the shit out of it like he did the walk out.

I thought MVP could have been that type of guy later in his run but once he got on their bad side, it was over. The problem I had was as a face he was always in a feud with the heel bringing up his time in prison. They don't ever bring up Randy Orton's dishonorable discharge from the military.

 Seriously? Trust me Cena, Hogan, HHH, Russo, Jarrett etc are despised fans and even peers.

Vince is a prick plain & simple because he gets some sick thrill out of embarrassing JR. Personally i think Vince secretly hates JR because he wishes he had been as great as him during his announcing days(WHAT A MANEUVER:lol:).

How ironic is it that they portray him as this badass yet he ran out on his country:lol::smh:. Even if they did bring it up they would probably explain it away as him being immature at the time:hmm:

I don't see it. When TNA does road shows, Hogan still gets babyface pops just because he's Hulk Hogan. That applies to HHH too. Jeff Jarrett can still get real heat when he's put in a position but TNA fans still remember him as "the founder" and as soon as he turns back (which he shouldn't until he's ready to retire) they'll jump at the chance to cheer him.
With Cena, the boos have more to do with how he's presented (SuperCena The Indestructible) than the actual wrestler. "Hated" in pro wrestling just doesn't exist anymore. Hell, they don't even have "Die, Cena, Die!" posters like they used to have for Rocky Maivia.
Russo? Outside internet fans, no one even knows who he is anymore.

"What a maneuver!" use to piss me off so bad:lol:. Dude, learn the name of moves. While over on WCW, Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone were calling wrestling like it was a sport.

Which would be the right way to talk about it and they did do that with MVP but damn, do you have to bring it up every single time? That's the difference in how they treat their Black talent.
As long as Alicia Fox is there, Naomi will be in the wings. Can't have two sexy Black chicks there.

You remember one night stand when they had the "If Cena wins we riot" sign? Casual fans aren't that committed but die hard fans still love & hate just as strong.

Vince was the announcer on the old wwf games and he even sucked on those "The ring moved about 10 feet on that one":smh:

They can tolerate Alicia because she's built more like the divas they have now, but Naomi is thick and they don't want to see a "real" woman mess up their stick figure obsession(remember how they treated Mickie?).

I think that the difference is that MVP is man enough to recognize his mistake and he's very open about it and about how he has changed his life around since then.Orton has no problem airing out Kelly Kelly and such but I doubt that he could handle being aired out over that to millions of people.

Those were ECW fans in an ECW building with Cena facing an ECW favorite, that does not count.
Even diehards aren't what they used to be because too many of them (us) think we're "smart" and can't understand why the bigger companies don't cater to our whims.

:lol::lol: The worst part is he was really good when he worked for his dad as an announcer. He didn't start to suck until he was the boss and decided he needed to tell us who to cheer and boo instead of letting the guys do it in the ring.

And he still does it to this very day. Let's be honest the face of your company shouldn't get booed by 75% of the arena every night, but Vince is steadfast in his view of Cena.

75% is on the high side, it sounds like it's about half and half, similar to Shawn Michaels during his babyface run in the mid 90s. Cena sells the most merchandise so I would stick with him too, just book him differently.

Random shit, reply to what catches your eye

I think Bound For Glory has the potential to be the best card from either of the Big Two this year. Hogan/Sting will be full of shenanigans and run ins and shit to cover the fact that Sting isn't what he used to be and Hogan can't do much of anything. Angle/Roode should be great but Angle will probably win and go on to feud with Jeff Hardy, though I would have him feud with AJ Styles or Matt Morgan.
Bully Ray is so fucking awesome. Knowing he would probably get a huge pop in Philly at BFG, what does he do? He puts on his Yankees knit cap and says "I'm from New York." Best heel running today.

Outside WWE and TNA, I'm following Urban Wrestling Federation and LuchaLibre USA on MTV2 and I'm enjoying both and recommend them but for different reasons. UWF is like a hardcore rap version of the old ECW: grimey and low budget but with really good wrestling. Some old CZW and ROH guys with a sprinkling of old WWE and TNA guys. Rasche Brown and Rich "Beast" Ortiz beat the shit out of each other in the main event of the last show.
LuchaLibre USA is good lucha action with a higher budget with some good American, American based wrestlers mixed in. There's a lot of comedy mixed in and that probably softens the harder edged stuff but it's still a good hour of wrestling. They just added Rocky Romero and Petey Williams to the roster.

Hogan can say the most interesting things sometimes, for example

Robert Roode: “Nah, he’s not ready. He’s not the next guy. Ya’ know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might think he is. He’s not the next guy. If I had to bet money on anybody and really be serious about betting money on anybody, I’d say Jeff Hardy is the next guy if he keeps his act together. Um, that’s what you gotta to have, man. This is much more than being a wrestler, this is crossing barriers, medias, ya’ know media barriers, and, and entertainment barriers of all kind. Getting your character down verbally has 90% to do with getting over. I just have a very strong feeling Kurt Angle’s going to clean his clock performance wise, and carry the match, and basically remains the champion. He’s training for the Olympics. He’s had some up and down moments, and I think this is not gonna be a down moment for Kurt Angle, so I’m betting that farm on him."

Jeff, when he's on the right path, is great and he does have that extra charisma that stars should have but I think Roode has it too. He can work, talk, work as heel or face and get over, and he just looks like a star and a badass dude. Plus, Jeff's had his run, it's time for new names at the top.

James Storm: "I’d go with James Storm all day long. Mainstream brotha’! Cowboy hat, beer drinking, middle America, Nascar, Walmart, Country Western. I mean all day long, it’s a no brainer. That’s me. That’s my opinion. So, I mean, Bobby Roode’s a tremendous athlete. I would change. I’d build him from Venice Beach, California or Omaha, Nebraska instead of, I dunno, Canada, eh’? I love him to death. He’s a great kid. When he looked down at me from the ring, and we had an argument one day, and he goes, “What the hell have you ever done?” I said man, this guy’d be a great heel, but yeah he has a lot of potential there for him to, but if you ask me to choose who to run with’, and you gave me those two choices? That’s my opinion."

Hell yeah. I like Roode and he could be a real star but that fucking James Storm has main event, crossover star written all over him. Fuck Ken Anderson, Storm should be the one in a high profile feud and match with Bully Ray.

AJ Styles: "It’s never too late. I mean, I just don’t know. I, when I first came in all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed a couple of years ago, I had a ton of suggestions which I was kind of pushing real hard, which I thought would take him to a crazy, crazy level, and nobody responded. So, I don’t know at this point. I have my ideas, but a lot of things that I believe in, and what I feel from the crowd, and what I know. The little I know about this business. Sometimes, it’s either taken and used, or used and it doesn’t work, or it’s not used at all. So, it’s just..it’s my opinion. I don’t know at this point."

Fuck is he talking about? AJ was doing great until him and Eric got there and with Russo started fucking him up and made him "Naitch Jr" and made his last world title run a joke after it started off so great. Now that he's back to his more natural character and personality, TNA fans have accepted him and he should be injected back into the main event picture soon.

I hope we get a link to watch Bound for Glory. The fact that doctors have told Hogan that one more bump could leave him paralyzed, and he still is trying to main event, says a lot about this dude and his ego. After this, Sting and Hogan should both retire. They could do it where Dixie gets the company back, and she makes Sting her GM. Hogan can stay on as the leader of Immortal. The focus should be on the young talent from now on. Also, call me crazy, but I think Rhoode is gonna win, and start a program with James Storm....

You're crazy.:D

For matches that would be good but Bischoff believes in "stars draw the ratings" (even if there's no evidence that they're doing so) and I don't think he would see Roode vs Storm as a main event level feud.
Hogan isn't going to take any bumps in his match, not any big ones, Sabu he ain't. It'll be a bunch of punching and kicking until the run-ins start.
Seeing as he's still in good shape and still has a little left in the tank, I don't mind Sting wrestling but at this point, he should be feuding with the younger guys and putting them over. He was doing that before but the temptation of putting together "dream matches" with RVD, Hardy, Angle, and Anderson with some reunion matches with Flair, Hogan, and Foley was too much to resist.

Who the hell is that black dude that's in the front row at every damn show wearing the 'We Hate Cena' shirt??
I swear that dude is at every event and always in the front row.

Hulk's problem is that he spends too much time putting himself over.He spends more time doing that than putting over the company that he works for and the talents there which is why I don't understand why TNA is bringing him back.He was good for a brief bump in ratings and his presence helped them get Jeff Hardy,Ric Flair,RVD and possibly Ken Anderson. But all of them have been misused to this point and the company hasn't taken a step forward. If anything the company has gone backwards since him and Bischoff came over.

Don't usually post about the divas but this was interesting:

NoDQ.com > WWE > Gail Kim Says She’ll Never Go Back To WWE, More
Posted by Andy Steven on 10/15/2011 at 06:16 AM

-- In her first free interview since parting ways with WWE, Gail Kim told SunSport that she has no plans on returning to the sports entertainment empire.

“I’ve experienced WWE twice now, and I know that I do not enjoy that place,” she says. “The second time I really had optimistic hopes and dreams, but I know I would never go back there.”

Kim informed WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis that she was quitting the company ten minutes before the infamous battle royal in which she eliminated herself from the match. “It was a very controversial thing,” she said. “A lot of people said that they lost respect for me because I was unprofessional. But unless anyone walks in your shoes they do not what you feel.

“I can admit that maybe it was a childish thing to do. But I would not take it back. I was disrespected many times by the company, and when you get disrespected that many times there is only so much you can take.

“I’m not one to just lay there and take it – at least not now – and they didn’t even notice.

“I was fed up that day.”

Now that she is free, many people believe Kim will return TNA Wrestling, where she achieved her greatest success. She feels that it is likely, but she is in no rush.

“Right now I’m on a little hiatus,” Kim said, “I told myself I’d take a little break. They didn’t let me quit so I was forced to take a break!

“I’m not retiring from wrestling, I can say that. I always said – I said it in my last interview with TNA on a Knockout’s DVD – that I always felt like I would return there one day. I’d love to finish up my career there.”

does anyone remember this happening ??? I was probably in class and thats why I dont remember it.

Well first at :28 on the right side of the screen Melina tossed herself out and then Gail looked at her then went to the left side of the screen and rolled out of the ring not even selling a move. It happened on the Raw on August 1st.

So it looks like Gail and Melina were both fed up and said fuck it.

Well the KO division is nowhere near what it was when she was there, but she will at least be used in a meaningful way.

Gail will be welcomed back in TNA with open arms. Throwing her in with Tara, Mickie, Velvet, and Winter, along with the new Christina Von Eerie should make for good matches.

I think Hulk did help in getting those guys but I also think they would have come anyway since all of them, except RVD, had burned their bridges with WWE (at least temporarily). Even Rob probably would have come anyway because he hates the WWE travel schedule.
But even with all those guys, TNA still draws the same rating generally and the improvements in merchandise sales have been due to Don West moving to that side full time (you have to see this guy work at a house show, it's amazing how hard he works).

HOGAN REFERS TO AJ STYLES AS A 'JABRONI MARK', RESPONDS TO FANS UPSET ABOUT HIS RECENT COMMENTS
by Mike Johnson @ 1:42 AM on 10/16/2011

The hottest issue over the last 24 hours within TNA appears to be not anything scheduled for tonight's Bound for Glory PPV, but Hulk Hogan vs. AJ Styles.

It started with a taped interview Hogan gave Sirius Radio's Between the Ropes where Hogan claimed that Bobby Roode was not the next great thing in wrestling, saying that if it was up to him, it would be Jeff Hardy (who has already been WWE champion and on top for years).

Hogan also commented on AJ Styles, stating, "It’s never too late. I mean, I just don’t know. I, when I first came in all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed a couple of years ago, I had a ton of suggestions which I was kind of pushing real hard, which I thought would take him to a crazy, crazy level, and nobody responded. Styles, who never takes to social media to voice complaints publicly, retweeted a few fan comments claiming Hogan used Styles' push as a scapegoat after failing to bring numbers to TNA and wrote, "Frustration setting in when your own guys bury the company that u have worked so hard for........ Brother!"

Those comments apparently got under Hogan's skin. When a fan, Anthony Maurizio, called Hogan on Styles' comments, Hogan responded, "Just waiting for somebody to figure it out and do Today Show, Fox and Friends , Leno, radio, tv ,etc. , instead of the same 5 star matches over and over.....and main stream and world wide international media on a miss my ass basis, brother. HH"

Hogan then began retweeting a bunch of comments written by fans about how his name provides more attention to TNA and basically putting himself over. He finally wrote, "Goodnight HULKAMANIACS and jabronie marks without a life that don't know it a work when you work a work and work yourself into a shoot, marks."

Hogan then continued retweeting all sorts of compliments and comments putting him over, well into early Sunday morning, the same Sunday where he's scheduled to return to the ring against Sting.

Of course, Hogan's claims that he was working during the interview makes about as much sense as last week's episode of Raw, since he was saying Robert Roode wasn't the "next guy" and was putting over Jeff Hardy, who is currently feuding with Immortal. Not to mention that if he was "working", why would Hogan be commenting that he'd be pushing James Storm if it was up to him? Hogan's comments on Styles were anything but a storyline work. If anything, Hogan was probably a little too honest for those within the company (on an interview he was doing to promote the company he just signed a new two year deal with) and was now trying to muddy the waters.

For Hogan to refer to Styles, who has never been anything but the most exemplary talent and represenative for TNA as a "Jabroni Mark" is one of the most ridiculous statements of the year.

Throwing out his ridiculous insults, Hogan's points about others stepping up and getting media appearances would actually make sense but all the media in the world means nothing if people aren't interested in watching it. Hogan's teased retirement did a poor quarterly rating for TNA - one of the worst quarters of 2011 and far worse than anything AJ Styles drew of late.

For all the talk of what Hulk Hogan means, Micro Championship Wrestling didn't come out looking too strong in the ratings, either.

But looking at the Hogan media from the last week - Did Hogan do a lot of media for TNA in the last week? Absolutely. But so did Kurt Angle and a number of other stars. The difference there is that when those other stars do appearances in the media, they always do the one thing that Hogan almost always fails to do - talk about TNA, even when they are promoting other exploits. Hell, even Mick Foley did that during his tenure there.

The other thing that did that Hogan failed to do - is actually promote TNA as if it was something worthwhile. Hogan promoted Hogan on 99% of his media appearances and then tossed in a few comments on the side about TNA. He spent more time on ESPN talking Andre the Giant and Randy Savage than he did TNA or explaining why he was wrestling Sting. He spent more time talking about the allegations that he and Brutus Beefcake were
gay lovers than he did getting over the Dixie Carter storyline on Howard Stern. I am sure Hogan will blame it on those who were interviewing him - because the guy who could control 93,000 fans at Wrestlemania couldn't sway the direction of an interviewer - but the reality is that we knew more about Sylvester Stallone hiring Hogan for Rocky III over TWENTY YEARS AGO than we did about the TNA product by the time Sportscenter finished their Hogan rotation.

But, it all comes down to what I mentioned earlier - the media all means nothing if people don't want to see it. Hogan did almost nothing to get people to want to see TNA over the past week - but I guess that will be dismissed as well.
