Booker T is the Magic Johnson of wrestling... I don't know.. I literally enjoy seeing Michael Cole in pain.... which I guess means he is doing a good job... still would like to see one axe kick though... I literally got excited when Booker was in the ring with Mark Henry.
Cody would be a good feud... why did they shelf Drew McIntyre? With the revitalization of the IC title, it should be the time for a push... Cody is good on the mic and is a good technician, couldn't stand dibiase's mic work though...

Shit when is the Rock coming back? Isn't this about the time the push for wrestlemania starts?

Good question about Drew. I thought they pushed him too hard, too fast with "The Chosen One" gimmick but he worked hard to get better in the ring and he's a big fuckin' kid. I thought McIntyre and Rhodes could have been a good team if they kept them together. They should pair them back up like they did Orton and Edge a few years ago, just don't make McIntyre his apprentice.

I heard he was actually wrestling @ Survivor Series

He is.

All i know, is that the ROCK better not lose to cena.. That would be the end of Wrestling for me.. & I don't watch it through now, I FF it after it's dvr'd.. but if they did that, I wouldn't even keep up anymore.!

:smh::smh: shit looks stiff as fuck. ninjas moving like robots.:smh::smh::smh:

I know! And that's suppose to make you want to buy the game, let alone pre-order it? That shit looks worse than last year. I don't think I'm even renting that shit this year.

HEY UPGRADE DAVE? UGRADE YOUR LIFE! TALK TO MYSELF......C'MON SON. ALL I HAD WAS AN OPINION. SO IF YOU DONT LIKE IT ! KICK ROCKS BIT@H:dance:

If this is true, it may be good news in that Russo is gone but I don't recall Prichard's work as a booker in any other company. He couldn't possibly be worse or more confused or confusing.

Again, if this is true.

He definitely could be worse.I don't know if he could be more confusing.I don't know if anybody could be as confusing as Russo.

And there's no excuse for him to be so confusing. He only has one two hour show to book for. Take the guys TNA fans want to see and use them. Figure out how they work best, as heels or faces, and use them as such and STOP switching them back and forth so often with no rhyme or reason (Pope and Ken Anderson have switched twice a piece in the last year and it looks like Abyss is headed to another turn).

In the last year or so there aren't too many guys that they have used correctly or to their best capability. It looks like it's the case with Beer Money Inc. but guys like Pope,Mr. Anderson,Samoa Joe and even AJ have been wasted not to mention the British Invasion. You didn't even mention Ink Inc. who were butting heads one minute, then off TV for months and then when they do come back there are completely cool with one another and have a new valet and pushed to feud the tag champs for no reason.

Russo has ADD or something because it seems like he can't just leave well enough alone and instead acts like he needs to reinvent the wheel or something.

Rock is expected back for the Survivor Series buildup.

Nice wakeup taunt

that is cool! I might actually pick up the game instead of waiting for a used one :lol:don't judge me... I'm frugal.

that would be cool... especially since Air Boom... I can't stand that name... and they need a better intro... either way.. I literally like Cody more as an individual wrestler.. crafty dude.. great heal... descent mike work... definitely better than his pops. I say pair him with Mason Ryan or Tyler Rex... but let Drew do the mic work... yeah. Or push the Usos harder... because they seemed more balanced and smoother..

Summerslam you say? its on..

I think it looks like that because the animations aren't totally canned this year as they have been to allow for the interruption/combination of finishers.

They could of taken a little more time to get that to look a little more naturally but of course they are on that Madden shit and want to rush the product out.

Then please set me straight because the only thing I remember was that damn sharecropping talking bull he did... any promos?

Reinvent the wheel every 6 months. I knew TNA was in trouble when they fired Dutch Mantell, Jim Cornette, and Savio Vega while Jeff Jarrett was suspended. With Scott D'Amore leaving, that meant the booking was totally in the hands of a frenetic lunatic like Russo (with others but Vince was in charge). It got worse when Bischoff and Hogan came because they came with their own ideas and had no knowledge of the product or the wrestlers. Even now, because Eric Bischoff doesn't see the value of tag teams, they've de-emphasized tag teams (I know the injuries to Ink Inc and the MCMGs and the quitting of GenMe had something to do with it but all of those teams were either being pushed back or split up).
Demoting Russo is a good first step.

I'm really liking Cody as IC champ too so a McIntyre/Ryan or Rex tag team, if pushed right, might be a good idea. They were teasing that Rex and Curt Hawkins were trying to get something going but there wasn't any followup on it. Hawkins and McIntyre would probably be a very solid team.

Wait, wait, wait
Cody does what better than his father? Sit ups? I would agree there. But Dusty is one of the two greatest talkers of all time (Ric Flair's the other).

Fa sho. They never let him loose in WWF but that fat man could make it happen on the mic in Crockett and Florida.

Question

Who did Cena wrestle in a Hell in the Cell before Sunday? They keep saying he and Punk had experience in the match and I know Punk wrestled Taker (something else they rushed and ended up squashing Punk and his momentum at the time) but who did Cena face in one. I bought the HitC dvd set and he's not in any of the matches. Help a brother out.

/\ Orton in 2009's HITC PPV, he lost though.

Same year as the Punk/Taker match. I can't believe they had DX vs. Legacy as the main event, especially since they didn't put Legacy over.

Randy Orton a couple of years ago

McGee, you know damn well Shawn and HHH weren't going to let someone else main event a ppv if they could help it. The old Kliq still likes to show up every now and then.

And the topper about that is that both Mantell and Cornette had success booking elsewhere while Russo has never been successful booking without Vince looking over his shoulder. The X division,Knockouts and tag team wrestling is what they had to differentiate themselves from the WWE and since Hogan and Bischoff showed up all 3 have gone to shit.Injuries may have something to do with things but they've also done nothing with Alex Shelley. The last time I saw him he was the first person to lose in a X division 8 man elimination match.

They had Hawkins and Rex attack the Usos on NXT a couple of weeks ago.And they each cut promos and wrestled on the show this week.I hope something good comes from the opportunity cause I really like the Usos and Hawkins and Rex isn't bad.

DX did win the match but if I remember correctly Legacy had beaten them in a I Quit match at the previous PPV.Too bad that the follow thru sucked because that feud should have gotten Rhodes and Dibiase over enough that when they split they were set.

Look who's appearing in the WWE 12 game
Brock Lesnar will be announced as a "legend" in WWE '12 this week by THQ.

UFC has approved Lesnar's inclusion in the game as long as he is being presented as the wrestler and not the MMA fighter.

Paul Heyman is believed to have been involved in closing the deal to get Lesnar in the game.

That's probably why Dana White was at the WWE headquarters a couple of weeks ago. BTW Wrestlemania 21 to me is one of the most underrated wrestling games produced.

I have to agree. Now they want to bring back the X Division but neither Russo nor Bischoff have much success featuring smaller wrestlers. Bischoff's success with the WCW cruiserweight division was more because he had hours and hours of time to fill, not because he believed in what they did. You don't need countless gimmick matches like 6 minute ladder matches and 10 min gauntlet matches, just give them tv time to wrestle and they'll get themselves over.

Thanks. I hope it does too but why even give them that time on one of the big shows if you're not going to follow up? Spend less time on Raw stars and HHH on Smackdown and let these guys get some of that air time.

They did but considering how they had booked Legacy, particularly Rhodes and Dibiase, all that year, the only way to elevate them would be for them to win at HitC. After the fact, it comes off, to me, as they put them over in the I Quit match so they could main event their revenge match at HitC.

Rex and Hawkins got the win over the Usos. Now I'm interested in seeing if they actually start to really do something with the tag division.Kofi and Bourne have been defending the belts but they've been doing it against makeshit tag teams.Miz and R-Truth are an alliance but they really aren't a tag team and Ziggler-Swagger have been portrayed as 2 guys forced together by Vickie with their own interests and who don't like each other.
Besides I just the Paul London-Brian Kendrick shoot video where they get into how they took a tour of the WWE headquarters and were basically told that the company only cared about 10-15 guys.Same thing here.Vince isn't going give the Usos or Hawkins-Rex any significant time because in his mind it's all about the HHH saga or Cena or Orton and currently Henry-Big Show.

Good point. That was the problem with Legacy and while it failed while Evolution thrived. While Evolution was portrayed as dominant and while HHH's interests were the focal point of what they did individually they were made to look like threats to anybody.Legacy was portrayed as 2 underlings to Randy Orton who were supposed to look after his best interests and were portrayed as stooges who got punked by Orton on a regular basis which is a big part in why their breakup sucked and there was no intrigue to the match at Wrestlemania.

So can we now say that this CM Punk/HHH/John Cena angle is now officially GARBAGE? That had to be one of the worst Raws ive seen in a long time, and Punk shaking HHH hand followed by the good guys trashing the rest of the roster was terrible.

c/s so Punk and HHH beat the holy shit out of each other at one ppv and the next one they are teaming up ????? I dont know whos writing this shit but it's bad. But does this mean Hunter is about to start back wrestling full time or is this just until the ppv is over ??? The roster is kind of weak and they havent really being trying to bring up new wrestlers as of late

I think HHH at this point is only part time but that didn't stop him from making people cheer him and boo the rest of the roster.

I thought we agreed to that weeks ago:D.

 I had noticed this during the "walk out". It ends with HHH standing alone and the audience chanting "Triple H! Triple H!". How is this getting anyone else over? I thought they were building Miz and Truth in a great way but if it ends ultimately with them eating pedigrees, this was an even bigger waste of time than it's already been.
