first off it could be argued that the reason Em blew up is because while MANY rappers were talking nonsense he was ACTUALLY saying SOMETHING...
especially that Marshall Mathers LP
but you CANNOT compare the two...
Scarface is such a storyteller his flow and word selection is incredible.
His music got SOUL...
Em is a ferocious spitter and his breath control and poly-syllabic flows are some of the best EVER!

Real talk. Like in basketball with Michael Jordan, Dr. J, Magic, music with Michael, Luther, Prince... you really can't compare Scarface with anyone else & you shouldn't try to cause he's in a class by himself. Like with the other categories, there are of course others that do certain things better than each person, but overall each top cat is too nice at what they do as a whole to be put into a category with others. In other words, when it comes to polls like this Scarface is up top somewhere without sayin, along with a few select others, then you begin analyzin & comparin cats.

I'm from the D but I picked Em because even after throwing out his garbage albums he came back with some raw shit with that Recovery & Hell the sequel. Now don't get me wrong Face is a monster there's a track at the end of one of his cds...when this dude says "I think I can fuck with you now" and he rips that shit. But it's hard to compare the two because of the difference of content

Boy meets girl is hard......one of the best hip hop songs ever. Face sound like he is narrating in the song.
