these motherfuckers... Walt can't let shit ride it's course. Fuck Hank..... that nigga should have been charged to the game. He signed up for that shit and he kept putting his nose in the shit with reckless abandon. Let Gus kill him and deal with the car wash... it's cold shit but Walt is a cold motherfucker or at least he was when he was dealing with Jesse's meth-head girlfriend.

so let me get this right, skylar who fucked her boss in the past while married to walt. ended up giving him 600k to save his ass directly from the irs, and keep irs eyes off her. INSTEAD SHE COULD HAVE just had him Off'd for probably 100k. And the 600k she gave up to keep him in order ended up being 600k that could save walt's life, and the family AKA skylar old boss GETS HIM IN THE ASS again.

Don't forget they bought the carwash, are paying Hank's medical bills, his own medical bills, crooked lawyer fees and I don't think he has been working for Gus that long to pay all of that and come up off of a half mill cash.
remember that Walt had only been cooking for a couple of months. Spent 800k on a car wash. Buy two cars, a nice apt, that money could go fast.
My guess is now that the cartel is gone, Jesse kills Gus but who knows at this point. Writers could have this go a myriad of ways. The only thing i'm most willing to put money in is Hank being collateral damage.

Car wash cost 700 grand subtract that from Skylar payoff & if he gave dude half mill to disappear ,he might have a couple hundred left.
Truth... if she had kept Walt in the loop though, dude might have done it, himself, as wild as he has been acting this season.

Naw Walt isn't that cold. Everything he did in the past that can be considered cold was to protect himself or his family. Whether it was letting Jessies girlfriend OD or offing the street cat so Jessie wouldn't get fucked up it was in the end to protect a loved one.
In fact its sort of ironic but if my memory serves me correctly Walt and his falling out with Gus came about as a result of his loyalty to Jessie. When Walt was in good with Gus and Jessie was fucking up and they wanted to off Jessie Walt held him down and refused, even killing the cats in the street to protect him.
Now Walt is on the outs and he and his family are in danger while Jessie is in good and could be the difference between life and death for Walt.
No way he would allow them to kill Hank though without trying to intervene its not who he is.

From what I hear they may spread the end out between two seasons ( one next year, one in 2013) so I don't see Jessie or Walt going anywhere anytime soon. I could see Skylar, Hank, or even Walt Jr. being taken out though.
Either way this is one of the best episodes of this or any show I've ever seen in my life

I don't know... he knew that meth ho was going to be Jesse's downfall and he let the chips fall where they fell no matter how much it hurt Jesse. If he had done nothing and let the shit go down like Gus told him it would... he might have survived this thing without any problems, but Walt is too much of a control freak to let things settle on someone else's terms.

Truth... but these two assholes are way over their heads and both are too stubborn to realize it until they have no options like the end of the episode.
Walt a few episodes ago was explaining to his wife that he was something like the grim reaper of gangster shit and Gus/Mike were so many steps ahead of him that it is embarrassing. They even unknowingly took Walt's/Jesse's bullshit plan to kill Gus and pull it off and such a larger scale on the cartel. Even Jesse, who used to see Walt some type of mastermind when they were street dealers, is now seeing that Walt is a complete joke on this level of the business... Which is why he should have given up control to Gus.
Skylar's goofy ass has been out of the loop while Walt has made himself a millionaire and solved so many of their problems without her... yet she feels the need to 'set his business straight' and even try to get gangster to fix Walt's situation. When Walt, for all she knows, has been running shit smoothly without her... she gets the bright idea to not even tell him about the problems that all of her 'fixing' has created.
Neither of these motherfuckers would have handled that shit correctly and I'm of the opinion that they will survive Gus and Uncle Sam will be the cause of their downfall.

Jesse is beginning to lose faith in Walt's ability to out smart Gus like he would out smart people in the past. Jesse is seeing Gus clearly for what he is... the guy Walt was pretending to be when they were dealing with street dealers.
The question Jesse has been dealing with is, do you stay loyal to a motherfucker who is going to ruin both of you and has had too many close calls that have lucked up into working themselves out or the guy who is proving time and time and again that he has everything figured out so that he eventually wins in the end.....

All it would take is for some DEA agents to start questioning him and him hitting that bell for a "yes" to put them on Gus' ass even more than they already are.

You might be right... I can't think of a believable way that shit can continue much longer without Gus or Walt dying. If Gus goes then the government is going to fuck them over and if not... Walt has to go.
