Admittedly it does look suspect, but then again, how do you make a still shot of grown men in superhero costumes look cool? :lol:

Once the special effects are added I'm assuming it will get much better. After all, Marvel is trying to launch a new film franchise with this one so I'm assuming they'll spare no expense (and spare us the laughably bad experience like that of Fantastic Four).

This book has potential, since Mr. Terrific has a ton of potential, his atheism, his scientific prowess, his money. Dude can be alot more of a science hero.

Remember there are like a 100 different version of cap suit on set. One for action scene, one for doing stunts, one for green screen, one for close up etc

i loved...and have been reading comics forever and a day....
but now it seems...the MAJORITY of these stories are just....trash...

You need to take a serious step on the indie side.

I will give you and example.

Marvel stole the whole Civil War and Secret Invasion idea from Astro City. An indie book that won a lot of acclaim.

I'm too tired right now to post what I got on my stack right now but most of it is not posted.

Right now I am LOVING a book called Vigilantes by Diamond Comics a local NYC comic book maker. They only make 500 copies but this book is just TIGHT. Serious attention to detail yet fun characters that make you laugh and think about a lot of shit as they go through what's on their plate. Not really a super hero book but sort of still is. The photo covers are fucking dope too.

So we're counting anything company as indie that isn't Marvel or DC no matter how mainstream it is? So if someone asks what indie comics they should read, I can recommend them Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

Let's be real: Dark Horse and Image are independent companies, but they ain't "indie".

You can very much consider Dark Horse and Image as indie because they publish a A LOT of book besides spandex and franchises and how they are owned.

Being independent has to do with how they are owned.

Marvel and DC have to answer to a board of trustee and pass through so many other layers of red tape that you can see it in their books.

You're pointed out titles like Buffy because they have an established fan base? Why not go for the other titles that Dark Horse makes like 'Red Sword' or 'Umbrella Academy.'

As for the link - Take a look at the list. Don't know why you want to talk about alternative comics when the issue here is what is and what is not independent.

I think you just want to argue for no reason with this. There a plenty of INDIE books that Image and DH come out with that are 'INDIE' titles. You telling me that books like 'Missing The Boat' and 'Pieces Of Mom' are not indie? :smh:
