I got fucked too. I ordered 2 on Saturday from HP business, they charged my card, sent me a confirmation on Monday. I haven't heard shit from them all week. Then this morning they reversed the charges on my card and i stil have no Touchpad.
FUCK HP AND THEM PIECE O SHIT TABLETS!!! I'M GONNA USE THAT $99 FOR SOME GREY GOOSE.

I found the HP case on Amazon for a little cheaper than the original price and ordered that one. I wanted a Touchstone too, but no one around here has them, and the Amazon prices are higher than on the HP Home store (sold out).
Just checked my e-mail and saw that my order through HP SMB was confirmed this morning (two 32GB ordered Sunday 08/21 morning).
I chose next-day shipping, but it says I won't get it until Sept. 7 (WTF!)
I will be on hold for this freaking 27 minutes too, because they still have a hold on my credit card like I made the same order twice.

Just got off of the phone with customer service. They say the Touchpads are on backorder and won't ship out for 3 weeks (even though 09/07 is 2 weeks away), so I guess there is some hope for others.
And supposedly the holds on my card will drop off once it ships and I'll just have the charge for the tablets plus shipping (and tax).

ehh not seeing too many threads/posts from those who supposedly have it...the hype was in the price and possibly for those who never owned a tab before it was a new experience...if I can still get it for $99 I will but it looks like that ship saled...looks like only HP possibly have them and ven they can't confirm nothing

So while my smartass was doing research on "eBay scams" (it was too good to be true) someone came in and bought all 6 in less than 5 mins.
I don't have that much experience w/ eBay...was it possible that it was a scam? $150 was awful low compared to the other sellers.

where did you find that, i've been looking in the site and found nothing.
I cant speak for others but i am so glad i got the TP....i hardly use my macbook since i got it. Been reading a bunch of comics and since i overclocked it and added free paid apps, i am very happy with this purchase. I might not even load android on this if/when its ready. WebOS is fucking great. Has never frozen or crashed.

I am posting from my touchpad that I got from HP. The tab is cool but as of right now it will not replace my xoom. It feels really good in the hand. There is just not enough apps and doesn't allow for very much customization yet. I have overclocked it to 1.5ghz and have done all of the supposed hacks you can do. It has potential. Webosbuzz.com is the shit though for the free paid apps.
HP will also be issuing updates for the device.
