That's why I said 'I bet'. I won't judge it completely until I've heard the whole album. But from the songs I've heard so far, it seems like it's gonna be your typical run of the mill (c)rap album.

Kanye has been making ground breaking hiphop since 2004 and he's not even my favorite artist. He continues to push the boundaries in terms of production and subject matter, albeit I feel the quality hasn't been as good as his first two albums. Jay-Z has shown little to no growth since volume one. But again that's my opinion. He should just retire.

i dont know about the album but this so called documentry is a bunch of bullshit....it told absolutely nothing no writing process, ideas, concepts, inspirations the music sounded sub-par....as some1 above me said the sampled track at the 10 min mark was the only thing worth mentioning about and that song where kanye mentioned russell crow sounded like its gonna be hot...this could have been so much better.

fuck it, I'm excited about this joint. The behind the scenes look was cool too. Everything doesn't always have to be polished and narrated to get a vibe of the essence. You can tell these guys are at least having fun making this music. Whether we like or not is another thing.
