I like Jamie Foxx, but not for a roll like this. I don't really take Jamie seriously as an actor. He would ruin the roll and the movie.

I don't like Jamie for this role but maybe he can pull it off. I preferred will or Idris to take the part. I also don't like DiCaprio as the main villain either.

Denzel cant stand Tarantino, so cut him out. Denzel is on the same page as Spike when it comes to Tarantino. Shit goes back to that film Denzel did when he was on the submarine. Tarantino was a writer, and he had nigga this, nigga that all in the script. Denzel called him on that bullshit, and was like it makes no sense to have racial tension between the two characters. And he had all that nigga shit dropped from the script.
Besides. This new movie sounds too much like "THe Nigga They Couldn't Kill 2". He turned down the first one, so Im pretty sure he'll turn this one down too.

Yeah, that whole Leo gets over on the heartthrob thing is bullshit. Homeboy ain't even on these young chicks radar anymore. His acting is excellent. There were only two roles where I could say Jamie was great in and they were Ray and Collateral. I think we overrate him a lil bit. I can't watch the Soloist without laughing.
you know what i haven't seen blood diamond or rev road OR body of lies so maybe i spoke too quick...but in the shits i HAVE seen him in, i didn't see much range besides aviator.
the more i think about it though i might have to recant. but i wasn't sayin he wasn't a good actor. just that jamie has more range. when i'm watchin a leo flick i always see leo. jamie's characters draw me in more, it's like he's a different nigga in his better joints. inception and shutter island could have been sequels, it's like he's playin the same nigga in a lot of his movies...on some ole mark wahlberg shit lol.
