I was looking at the highlights of the ECW show and I saw that they have replaced the old ECW belt with a new one:

ECW has been dead for years, but this I believe is the last shovel of dirt. Vince McMahon wants everyone to know that he owns ECW and has gone way out of the way to destroy any part of the original ECW.

Bearing that in mind, let's take a look at one of the most ripped off wrestling organizations of all time and the matches that put it on the mat.

We'll start with one of my favorite wrestlers and one of the best interviewers in the business: Raven.

That's how I saw it when they changed the belt. That shit is ugly and looks like a secondary title (which is what Vince considers it). The other "major" titles have gold in them...that new ECW title looks like aluminum.

That isn't the "Original" ECW Title. That was a new version. Word around is that this was actually a custom HHH belt, like Cena's, but they scrapped it. Notice it has HHH's Iron Crosses on the side.

aiyo gullah jack is right...i been watching that underlying storyline for months now....

and um....vince basically pulled his pants down and shitted on the last of the ecw legacy with this corny ass sterling silver belt.

this shit looks like it tarnishes after three weeks.

when i first saw it, i thought it was finally another belt for ecw. i was sadly wrong.

vince dont gotta shit on em no more...he alwady got the last few originals jobbing for the rest of there natural born lives, and three decades more in the afterlife....dreamer REALLY must not have money, cause he's jobbing the fuck off like he's homeless

That gotta be the worst looking belt since the old hardcore championship belt.

I don't know I like this belt better than the other belt they had....

I like the new ECW... Tazz needs help though... Teddy Long as the GM and the new superstar objective is cool...

True its a B-level show but it's cool...

I always watching the old ECW on WWE 24/7. RVD, Sabu, Tazz and The Franchise were my favorites..

It's all subjective I suppose, but Vince has turned ECW into a shell of its former self...That shit is watered down and I still maintain that the belt looks like a regional title.

That was the old World Heavyweight Title with the eagle that Hogan had in the early 90's. If I remember correctly, Mr.Perfect hit Hogan in the face with it and it shattered. I think it happen on the Brother Love interview segment.

ECW is definitely the B show now. As soon as someone gets over on that show the move the person to Smackdown or Raw. When it first came back I was excited.The combination of Heyman's mind and McMahon's money ECW could be what it once was and survive. Instead we get this crap with only a few legit good performers on the roster.

THe problem is that the last belt was small. When a big dude wore it (Kane, Mark Henry) It looked like one of those foam belts from WWEShopzone.

Like I said before, there is nothing that makes this ECW any different than Smackdown and Raw.
