The price of 'T' just went up

the NBA has imposed a new technical foul policy this season after decades of $500 wrist slaps. Now it costs $1,000 for the first five techs, $1,500 for Nos. 6 to 10, and $2,000 for 11 through 15. Then the real fun starts: After the 15th, each "T" costs $2,500, and offenders are tagged with a suspension for every other infraction (Nos. 16, 18, 20, etc.)

I think it still consitutes as a wrist slap. Even for minimum
wage players....After a little quick math, the first 15 T's add
up to $22,500.....after the 16th, it's $25,000. Still not that
much for cats making a minimum of 250K a season......

I could see the 10-day contracted cats being very polite
though. But the REAL punishment won't come until they
get on that 16th, 18th and 20th T. Then they miss salary
