10year+ lurker on the forum from the UK. Goin to NY from June 1st-10th. Can anyone recommend anything to hit up? Clubs, restaurants, events? Going Hot97 Summerjam on the 3rd

EDIT: Staying in the Lower East Side on Clinton Street and Rivington Street. Anyone know what the areas like?

Haven't read all the responses yet, but there's MAD shit to do/ places to eat in your area, the LES up through Houston and 1st ave from Houston to 14th St.

One of my favorite restaurants is actually in the LES: Kuma Inn. It's Filipino tapas, and byob so you can bring a few bottles of wine of your choice ( I think the corkage fee is only like 5 dollars as well). Shit, there was a group there at another table a few months back and they had a bottle of Jack ...

It's not the biggest place, but def way worth it. Also, the music is really good, from chill to old school hip hop/rock...
