Was listening to "The Fan" (WFAN) the other night and
Tony Paige bought up a good point....He mentioned that
you'll rarely see players sweat anymore. And he's correct
There are players flopping all over the place. And you will
see the occassional hustle play. But on the whole, you
will not see a sustained effort over the entire game like
you did 10 years ago.
I go back then and you'll remember seeing Patrick Ewing
and Charles Oakley sweating bullets. Big men like Hakeem
or Rodman where all OVER the court. And NObody sweated
more than Jordan
But it just don't exist today. One of the reason, I believe,
is because of all these asinine rule changes.
