Going to be in Memphis the latter part of next week. Thursday will be the night that is best for me I gotta mid afternoon flight on friday So where should i go looking for a 25 and up mixed crowd???

Thursday night, go to the Rooftop at the Peabody Hotel

Any other night on the weekend I'd say hang out downtown. That will satisfy your criteria of a mixed crowd.

I don't remember. I went only once in 2009. I tried to go when I went home for Easter (but it rained). You should wear either a nice button down or a pullover with no tennis shoes to be on the safe side. I had on jeans.

Business professional crowd..mixed with Mostly White, Black, and Asian. Most are just coming from work, so you wont see many people wearing sneakers. A lot of fun to be had and plenty of dimes. And Like Cliff said, there's always a good time to be had downtown. Just ask around.

I'm heading home for Memorial weekend, so I'll be at Peabody too...trying to come up on something.

Also, a good restaurant to check out downtown is Onix. Nice atmosphere and there are always jazzy chicks and live music. http://onixrestaurant.com/

Hey, I just had some job prospects opening up there. I checked City-data and paycheck.com and seems that I would be making decent bread if I kept my D.C. Salary and moved out there. Only risk seems to be if the job goes away, could I find comparable salaries in that city's economy?

So do any of you all think that moving there would be a good look (and I'm considering it to stack bread for about 5 years) or would you look to another city? I have no kids, not married.
