I don't think it is any kind of strange phenomenon that requires exploration in a documentary. It's quite simple: Sex work is often criminalized in our society, or relegated to the realm the semi-legal. We have weird laws where it is illegal to sleep with people for money, but it's legal if you film it (Yes, I know it is not so simple... but you get my drift). So of course, people in the sex industry are constantly living on the edge of the law.

And yes, there is a lot of substance abuse in that world, as there is in every part of the entertainment industry. But due to certain factors, the abuse in the porn industry is a bit higher. It's all pretty basic.

I think a more worthy subject to explore is why so many ex-porn stars becomes bodybuilders. I have my own theories, of course... but it is an interesting psychological question.

Someone should do a documentary on the trend of Ex porn stars either dying or having a criminal record after leaving the porn industry. It’s too many women this is happening to for it to be a coincidence this is definitely a trend.

Aside from that, if a person in theor early 20 dives into porn and one day decides to quot and become a teacher etc. mainstream world frowns upon folks past porn lives. the person jump into porn for not thinking long term repercussions. Of course drugs help numb and relaxes you to be in the zone in the porn party world but it takes its toll.its not like porn has residuals income and girls ego get brusied as the next young fresh 18 year old around the corner
