Just got finished putting the Turkey on........
putting it on where????
my aunt use to let it cook through the night but damn you are a little early aren't you

last meal for me today some damn noodles, i wont eat till that fried bird is done
had sum gumbo and potato salad....i'm all the way good
my parents house is alive with smells...my mom is making everything except the 2 turkeys..thats all me tomorrow....im frying those bad boys

This is not something I celebrate but I have to cook for people so it is:
Raw cranberry/orange/chipotle relish
Scalloped potatoes
Collard greens
Roast green beans and portobellos
A homemade tofurkey type thing from scratch
Chestnut sourdough stuffing
Sweet potatoes carmelized with anguilla rum
Wild rice
Mushroom gravy
Pumpkin cheesecake(my first time so I kind of excited)

We are going over to a friends place fro Thanksgiving, but I'm in charge of the Mac n Cheese.
Will start on it @ around 1pm. Just plain mac and cheese, no shrimp/craw fish though.

Using penne pasta, and using a recipe I saw on the Neely's/One on yahoo a few weeks ago. Making the cheese sauce from scratch and all.

turkey fried rice...
1lb of ground lean turkey
1 cup of dry rice (i prefer brown)
1tbsp finely minced garlic
1tbsp chopped garlic
2tbsp hoisin sauce
2tbsp rice wine vinegar
4 sliced carrots
brown up the turkey garlic and ginger in a little olive oil about a tablespoon
after mix browns mix in the carrots and other vegetables of your choice if you like (snow peas bean sprots)
add the hoisin and vinegar mix together and allow to heat up
quick simple healthy and tasty
dont need to add any salt considering how much salt is in the hoisin
