Hell, Philly got some of the best sandwiches out there. I am not taking Cheese steaks either. If you ever make it to Philly you have to stop by Tommy Dinic's at the Reading Terminal. The Italian roast beef or pork sandwiches are off the chain. I get mine with the sharp aged provolone cheese and peppers. Simply Amazing. Just a warning, the lines are sometimes long and they often run out of product because they are so popular.

I literally have not had a cheese steak in about 5 years, but if you are into pork it doesn't get much better than a roast pork sandwich with brocoli rabe

There is a spot called the sandwich board that roast the pig in house and tops the sandwich with the crispy pig skins or crackling... Yum

When I was out in Pittsburgh, I would get the steak Primanti. These were great after a night of drinking.

That gator is fucking delicious. I don't think there were any bad food places in New Orleans. I had grilled oysters, gumbo, and alligator po boy, and even though I was full, I just wanted more and more. It's the place across the street from the Acme oyster place. Kind of a diner set up, and they serve craft beer and probably the best food I've ever eaten.

Italian sandwich with the works. Nothing really special about the meats, but the bread takes it from just another sub to something special. They get it from a bakery across the street and if I go to AC, I'm not coming back without 3-4 of these with me.

Yeah. I heard White House Subs is the truth. With all the casinos now open in the Philly/Delaware area, I don't get to AC much any more. But the next time I go I am going to hit this spot up. My boy goes there and he tells me there is a long line, around the corner, every time he goes. Must be a hell of a sandwich.

Are you taking about Pagonos on Ogontz Ave in West Oak Lane? Hell yeah, that's a good spot. Back in my early 20's (and I could eat anything without getting fat) I use to get that Triple Cheese Steak, wit fried onions and American and hot peppers. Off the hook. Certainly one of the best steak spots in Philly.
