Looking at this reminds me of how The Wire is just an extended remix of Homocide - Life OnThe Streets. I'm introducing my wife to The Wire now. Was just trying to remember where I knew Orlando (the strip club owner) from. He was the commissioner on Homicide.
That Junior Bunk scene was one of the hardest scenes I've seen on television.

I got a confession, I always thought dude was a coon. It could have been caus his role in glory or just the way he carried himself but I was wrong. He had a beautiful black wife for I believe decades....RIP King!

He was honestly one of those guys you didn't know a whole lot about. You saw him, but you didn't really know anything about him outside of his acting, so assumptions can be made.
Old black men carry themselves with grace and dignity.
