Observations after the 1st quarter
1. Something is wrong with Carlos Hyde
He does not look right in running plays nor passing plays
2. Trent Brown is actually holding his own against Von Miller !!!
3. Gabbert throws a more catchable ball, so he has good chemistry with Vance McDonald
4. Again.....something is off with Carlos Hyde (I noticed this the last game vs the Texans also)

what's wrong with carlos hyde is there is no type of running lane for him. no lane to run 1 way or cutback. on any of his runs. he did what he could but if there are no holes you just can't do anything.

How does a dude who took this team to the super bowl only get 1 chance.
Gabbert has been average in these 2 preseason games.
But Kap who has done more in his career than Gabbert could ever wish to only has 1 chance?
Kap who is just now coming back from major surgery and injuries that had him on IR and miss all of the off season regular stuff only has 1 chance?
All of the reports were Gabbert had an extra head start cause he got to participate in all of the programs from day 1 you seen anything convincing?
NOPE
He has as many chances as Gabbert has.
Gabbert had a 2 game head start and did what he will do.
Check down and pass it to tight ends.
He could have locked this competition up last week especially. Just straight locked it up with a knockout performance and closed the door
did he?
If he came out and shut the competition down like everyone so desperately wanted him to so they could close the door on Kap they wouldn't even NEED to hope that Kap does bad because Gabbert would have given them all the ammo they needed to write the door closed on Kap
So kap has as many chances as he wants to IF we want to call ourselves being fair.

Kap is the best QB we've had on this roster since Steve Young. Period.
With decent coaching he did amazing things. Now with an offensive guru the sky is truly the limit.

You know how I feel and even I don't think this is that.
Gabbert has been playing the entire time. Kap hasn't played yet it might be like this for tonight and then reversed after.
if he had been starting over kap and kap could play all 3 games then id feel the way you do.

nothing to see. 2 miss throws that they covered for

2nd drive zone read run (kap play)
pass to tight ends.
1 super low that the announcer said he liked lol it was in the dirt.
and then a hyde run that really set the offense on.
