Zesty Lemon Butter Fish Fillet

Ingredients:

For the Fish:

4 fillets of white fish (such as snapper, cod, or tilapia)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

Prepare the Fish:

Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fish fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Lemon Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the fresh lemon juice and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
Gradually add the butter pieces, whisking continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:

Return the fish fillets to the skillet and spoon the lemon butter sauce over them.
Serve immediately with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
