Me? I can barely walk onto the court. Former All State sprinter and hurdle.

 
That's not bad sir at 38. Friend of mine, 39, just blew out his achilles playing ball.
That was me Pimpin.. Blew the left one when I was 30/31 playing football. (Full Rupture) and blew the other one (Full Rupture at 35) playin in an Over 35 bball league. I'm not jumpin or doing more than a jog now. But I'm 49 so phuck it! Still about 90% from the line doe. LOL

It's my opinion that many of these NBA cats play way too athletically and not with their brains. They go sky high or full speed for the most inconsequential of plays risking injuries. Play smart.
 
45 years old, 5'-10'', I can touch the rim barely but haven't played ball in years. Probably break both ankles and both knees if I tried to ball today. And I'm fit. I'm 165 pounds and can lift heavy weights like a powerlifter. When I was about 17 until about 28 I could dunk.

I used to be able to dunk irregularly and grab rim all day when I was in my teens and 20s, but now
in my 30's I can barely scrape the rim. Got some hops left but not like in my teens.

If I train a few weeks/months for it, I'm pretty sure I could.
 
36 5'8 irregular hooper at the local uni and ymca. Can still touch rim when I want but my body screams don't do that shit. I have a little bit of explosiveness left but shit is so limited and draining . Trade off is I'm running these 18 year old kids through screens and picking them apart off pick and rolls/pops.

My last years of playing was something like that. Youngsters didn’t know how to stop pick and rolls, back doors, moving without the ball. In a game to 15 I'd score 6 to 8 baskets and couldn't touch the NET.
 
I’m still in the game & very athletic at 38 but I’m a senior leader in the Army; Soldiers, NCOs, & junior officers force you to stay on your shit. I can still hoop & dunk. My fast switch muscles are still there, but I can feel Father Time on my ass.
