By internet beef I don't mean months after you've argued you're actively trying kill someone (although it could come to that). Rather, I mean you've disagree with someone so much that you don't want to interact with them further. It's too easy to have beef, and hate for, someone you know only online.

That's why you're not truly a BGOL vet if you don't have enemies here. If you've been here a decade, or longer, and don't have beef with another active BGOL veteran you're a lurker. Moreover, if you don't have active veterans on your ignore list you're likely not active, and a non-vet.

Issues occur when people step outside of themselves to act on the internet like they would like to act in real life. In real life they don't talk or act like they do on the net.
