Another Yellowstone spinoff is confirmed to be in the works by CBS.

The network is developing a procedural in which Luke Grimes, 41, is set to reprise his role as Beth Dutton's younger brother Kayce Dutton, per Puck.

CBS is already working on a spinoff that will follow Beth Dutton, who is portrayed by Kelly Reilly, and Rip Wheeler, who is played by Cole Hauser.

In the spinoff starring Grimes, Kelsey Asbille and Brecken Merrill are expected to join the new father-of-one, reprising their respective roles as Kayce's wife Monica and their son Tate.

Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone franchise includes two prequel series, 1883 and 1923, as well as sequel series The Madison, which stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams and Matthew Fox.

Grimes previously worked alongside Yellowstone star Kevin Costner from 2018 to 2024 ...

I just finished Yellowstone a few days ago and I HATED the way it ended... as grimy as Jamie was i did not want him to die the way he did... I'd have much rather seen Beth get arrested with Rip pulling up just as she was being frog walked out of that house... that bitch ALWAYS winning and doing what the fuck shit want, she needed an L and that would have been the perfect time to take one... to me, Jamie had potential to be a really good antagonist because he's so spineless and grimy... with his dad dead, the lady that set it up dead, and everyone backing him for governor he could have finally grew a set of nuts with him beating the shit outta Beth being his coming of age, so to speak.

The spinoff could have centered around her time in jail, trying to get out to get revenge on Jamie, Rip trying to hold things together with trying to protect her on the inside and keep a ranch going on the outside... him also trying to get at Jamie... trying to be an example to that kid they pretty much adopted so he don't turn out like the worst parts of him... shit was a major let down IMO

I actually felt sorry for Jamie...even after he set her up to get an abortion when she was younger; he didn't deserve that, but then he leaned all way in to being a bitch and he became the most hated character for me. I was kinda over beth when she had that fight outside with Summer, just being extra for no reason. I know Kayce had issues, but this dude had real PTSD and saw real combat. What was Beth's excuse?

Beth became sterile when Jaime took her too that Indian reservation to get a abortion.

For a lot of women in child bearing years, if they lose the ability to have children, it can send them over the edge.

Jamie was a teenager..that wasn't his responsibility. John should have been doing that..

The series never really went into depth on why Jamie took her too the clinic, especially when he was informed before the abortion that she would become sterile.

The only real theory was he was trying to protect the Dutton name from scandal and possibly from the reaction of John possibly killing Rip for knocking her up.

We probably won’t find out until future spin-off series come out.

But, You do realize the whole damn Dutton family is dysfunctional.

It all started back in the “1883” series and continued to “1923”.
