after decades of these white and black folk destroying her self esteem and identity as a black woman

using any and all mediums possible...

what you expect?
Had to add one more, but Say it again! Say that shit again!

How many young women, especially teenage girls, have not endured half as much bullshit as Serena has and have committed suicide. Serena has been the subject of more scrutiny than anyone else on this board. #facts

I agree. Her Dad worked hard to instill courage and strength in them and it worked. She's definitely had to deal with a lot.

Both of them have and they had to deal with it from white and sadly, Black people too.

I saw a piece one of Sommore's comedy specials a year or two ago from years back and she spoke on Benus I think.

Bruh, I was truly saddened and disgusted at the same time. You'll have to find it yourself because there's no way I'm posting it. :smh:

Let's pause for a secod, we all thought she had a bangin body but she wasn't the cutest. She has some strong facial features but she looked like a black woman. This is the Lil Kim syndrome and it's sad. In my opinion, she never really loved how she looked. She dated black male entertainers and that never worked.

White tennis commentators on ANATIONAL TELEVISED BROADCAST calling them manly and masculine and dissing their braids and bodies.

Let me apologize for the WE (you know I didn't mean to generalize, I don't do that)

but just look on THIS site to see so called black men clowned them for their features.

I don't know I feel like in TODAY'S climate?

All those insults especially on those big networks would have harsher repercussions.

and a MUCH louder uproar.

I actually want to go back and research that stuff when I have time.

Cause just off what those documentaries show? Bro I completely understand why those girls would have a tough time looking in the mirror.
