I'm completely not understanding Bishops logic......He trippin NOW about a mutant being born....and he tryin to kill Her specifically. Why? He's trippin about his future comin to light right? Well why the fuck he ain't BEEN killed all the mutants when there were a 198 of'em?

Shit makes no sense and i'm pissed they took one of my favorite characters and turned him into some kinda fuckin Nutjob ala Hal Jordan Parallax. Just fuckin retarded man.

I don't get it either :smh:
time travel is always weird in the Marvel U. If killing this little girl was that big of a deal why keep sliding into the future trying to find Cable why not just slide into the past and snatch the kid before all of this started

added Cable 14

Thank You Again, you rock

well he hasnt gone completely nut job if you think about it. he lived in a hellish future.. from what he understands the child in question is the reason for that hellish future.

while modern day mutants see the birth of Hope as the coming of christ. bishop sees her as the coming of the anti-christ.

a simple spin could be that it's not her that does the damage but him killing the child that causes his future to go wrong. add to that him realizing this and killing himself or going back in time to kill himself before he gets to kill hope.

i just read what i wrote, i'm crazy too

The problem is that they have don this "by trying to stop the future I actually created it" storyline with Bishop already.
Back when he first joined the X-Men and thought Gambit was the traitor.
They even did it in the X-Men cartoon too.

This all reminds me of the "X-ecutioners Song" event.

I don't think we know enough about the girl yet.
I think she will either be killed, stay in the future, or join Stryfe/Apocolypse.

Maybe Jean Reborn?

That's what i thought when I first saw that the baby had red hair.

But from Marvel Previews Jean or Phoenix seems to be returing in a few months.

I started to think it in a early issue during an explosion the glare in the baby's eye look kinda like the phoenix symbol

plus she was talking about blowing stuff up with her mind

whizzy you always come through..
i'm gonna come down to MD and thank you properly...
have the girls prepped and ready...

thnx

;)

Maybe she's Rachel.
Remember Ahab?
He was intended to be a clone of Cable(or Stryfe) before they changed his origin.

Stryfe becomes Ahab?
Hope becomes Rachel?

Maybe these events are the begining of Days of The Future Past.
That's one way they could go.

well Ahab is Rory Cambell

so i doubt that but if Hope isnt Rachel Ill be awfully surprised

True, but just like they didn't explain why Ahab looked exactly like an older version of Cable.
So it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them to re-retcon Ahab back to being a clone of Cable aka Srtyfe.

Plus they had Rachel being the one that brought baby Nathan into the future to be raised by Slim and Red.

So they have been playing around with these future timelines for a while.

Having Stryfe become Ahab and Hope become Rachel could be explained better than any other senario.

I also thought she was Rachel when I first saw her, but another theory (I never liked) is that she was Jean reincarrnated.

Wasn't Ahab a member of Excalibur that lost his arms in battle and got bitter and went into the Sentinel Project? I could have sworn I read that and they averted that future.

Ahab never looked exactly like Cable stop lying.

My point was that Marvel intended for Ahab to be an alternate version of Cable. Which would fit in with the current Messiah War storyline if they chase to go that route.

This article is from the X-Men Comic Books FAQ

"....As revealed by Sinister, Cable was indeed Nathan
Christopher Charles Summers (Cable #6), and the cyborg parts were
actually those parts of his body infected by the technovirus, which he
held in check with his telekinetic powers. Stryfe was his clone.

We'll side-track for a moment to mention Ahab. Ahab was the Master of
the Hounds from the "Days of Future Past" future--the one that Rachel
Summers was from. Hounds are mutants with powers useful for tracking
other mutants, who are controlled substances in that timeline. Back
when Cable still didn't have a past, Ahab was introduced in the Days
of Future Present crossover
(Fantastic Four Annual #23, X-Factor Annual
#5, New Mutants Annual #6, X-Men Annual #14). During one fight scene
Cable and Ahab got close to one another, and Cable was shocked to see
some similarity to himself in Ahab. This was compounded by having Ahab
say: "What's the matter? See someone you know?" (X-Men Annual #14).

Since Cable was later revealed to be Nathan instead of Ahab, a new past
for Ahab was needed
. A new character introduced in Excalibur #72, Rory
Campbell, was obviously intended to end up becoming Ahab, thus freeing
Cable from that unneeded bit of history. To that end, Rory lost his leg
(Excalibur #90) and became Mutant Liason for the British authorities
(Excalibur #101).

I totaly remember this and knew what you were talking about Franklin Richards being dead but willing himself alive was amazing.

The lie I was referring to what you saying they looked alike. Cable and Ahab didnt look alike. You were spicing it.
