i was out there a couple yrs back. We had a van with a driver and a security escort. I was in the hotel lobby and the security guard walked up to me and in broken English asked "where are you from, do you play basketball?" (i'm 6'3)
ME: i from atlanta, i only play for fun and to stay in shape
HIM: ATLANTAAAAA, Trae Young, Trae Young
That whole trip was crazy and eye-opening. Philippines is a big tourist destination for Koreans and they dont see black people much so they were gawking at me and the people i was with
