This is probably just a coincidence, but that doesn't make it any less strange.

Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, would likely be a pretty hot jersey this offseason, but the NBA Store has discontinued his No. 21 jersey.

Wiggins has recently been in the middle of rumors about the Cavaliers possibly trading the No. 1 overall pick and others for Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love.

After Love said he wouldn't sign an extension once traded, if these fools trade Wiggins for this Dude, they deserve him pulling a Boozer on that ass... :smh:
Nah. They gonna get a commitment from him. But they fools either way. Im interested in seeing the actual pieces exchanged though.

Wiggins bout to be ballin in...

As a Cavs fan, I agree. Love is letting it be known he doesn't want to sign an extension now BUT is saying he will sign once the season is over. :hmm: This has Boozer written all over it.

If the chemistry isn't right, he bounces.

This will go down along side the Drive, The Shot, The Decision, and The Fumble. It will be known as The Trade.

Yep... at this point, if I'm the Cavs, I ride the season out and see what Wiggins has to offer. If they are beasts, and even go to the finals, even if they don't win the chip they are an attractive option. Then, if Love is still on the table, you go after him and get him without losing key parts... If he signs elsewhere, you've already made it to the finals, or won them so you really don't need him. Then you keep back filling pieces to compliment what you already have.

Basically, the #1 pick in the draft and Wiggins upside is too much to gamble on a possible 82 game run with Love.

Love said he'll sign extension once Bron decided to go back. And it's been flashing on espn that he'll be traded on the 23 or 24 of this month. The 23rd being the first day Wiggins can be traded.

FUUUUUCK! we will trade Wiggins for Love to make LeBron happy. Which is bullshit.
it's not worth it,

I've been saying this for a minute now. Wiggins will be a nice piece to develop alongside Kyrie and Lbj. And will help keep the Cavs ship going with Kyrie once Lbj retires or leaves in 5 yrs. (i give him 5 yrs tops, but that's just me).

Dan, do not do this. Lbj will be pissed but I think Ince he sees how well Wiggins is coming along,...he'll come around.

Wiggens is a high volume shooter and needs to play on a team that will allow him to develop. On the Cavs he may not get enough touches.

Why did they even sign him?

Minnesota hurt themselves, because Golden State wasn't given up Klay Thompson

Boston had nothing anyone would want

Cleveland is basically bidding against themselves. Hell I would take Wiggins or Bennett off the table.

guy is a ufa in a year

isnt willing to sign longterm now

doesnt want to play for his current team

Cavs FO bout to fuck up

players develop when they get in a system that suits them

all the talk about number of touches is bullshit

by the way....wiggins wasnt even a high volume guy in Kansas...cut it out

He's gonna walk to us

Or

He gonna walk to Phil and Knicks

Lakers have no future

BUT TIME WARNER KNOWS SOMETHING BECAUSE OF THAT CRAZY TV DEAL.

They didn't just she'll out all that cash to see Kobe 1 more year and 3 years of nick young :puke:

I swear Cleveland has some of the whiniest fans on the planet. You go from one of the worst teams in the league a few seasons ago to a team that will feature 3 all-stars when the season tips off plus Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, Mike Miller,a shitload of draft picks, and assets to put the right pieces together. A deep team that'll contend for YEARS to come and you still whine.

Wiggins could be great, but he also could a bum too. You're talking about developing when you have a championship caliber team RIGHT NOW

Cleveland shouldn't let Minnesota rape them when they have all the leverage tho.

I don't understand it.

Besides Chicago, which is entirely based on Pooh and his brittle ass, there is no other competition in the east.

Wiggins could be the next MKG, and could just develop in to a role player

Here's the problem. Love CLAIMS he will sign an extension in 2015. There isn't going to be any signing before or after the trade. There is a chance he screws Cleveland(like Boozer) and leaves next summer.

It's just Cleveland luck. They make the trade and up without either player in 2015-16.

Boozer had a choice between Utah and Cleveland...he wasn't going to win with either one.

Love isn't leaving Cleveland with Lebron

All due respect but that's not a guarantee. if it was, he would not be talking about not signing an extension regardless of who he is traded too. There is also no guarantee Wiggins will be a bum. He will not have to be a superstar right away because the spotlight won't be on him in Cleveland, and everyone making projections on his career are doing it from the perspective of him being the #1 option or focal point. He has all the tools to be the Pippen to LeBrons Jordan, which is not a stretch at all because of his deferring personality.

All the Love won't leave Cleveland with LeBron there is reminiscent of all the LeBron ain't leaving South Beach talk... and look at where that left a lot of people :hmm:

MKG is only playing like that because he was on the garbage bobcats

Not only that, but MKG was never a high scoring option to begin with. He's from literally 10 minutes from where I live, and I've seen the kid from 7th grade on and I still don't understand the logic of taking him 2nd...

I was telling ya'll he was leaving Miami, because they had better talent. And Lebron's situation is a lot different than everyone else. So now dudes are trying to turn this in to some ABA shit where all players go to where they grew up?

Who would Lobe be going to that can offer him a max deal, who would be better than Cleveland in the east?

Dudes make too much about the small market shit. He's a big, he's getting limited endorsements anyway.

Players can play anywhere during the season, because you're on the road half the time anyway...the other four months you can stay in LA or Miami.

So LBJ signed a 2 year deal...so will Love sign for longer than that?

Or will this soap opera be every two years?

Cats really think Love, a player whose never made the playoffs will leave LeBron James and Kyrie Irving when he's a free agent? The Knicks and Lakers would make a play for him, but if your main draw is Carmelo and Kobe respectively, I can't see him leaving a team that talented for two teams that are severely lacking in talent. Anything is possible, but I just don't see it.

It would certainly keep punk ass Dan Gilbert on his toes.

Lebron only signed for 2 years because he can make even more money when the new television deal is in place, but even if signed for 5 years, he'd still have an opt out after 3 years.

Here's the issue, Love is saying he won't sign an extension because he wouldn't get as much money an extension as he could by becoming a free agent & resigning. The team he is traded to can offer him the most money when he enters free agency. If he's traded to a place he wants to play...he's not leaving that money on the table. So the extension talk is semantics.

I saw him in college and he looked good, but no where as spectacular as some folks say. He does have promise, but I don't see him developing into that player on a team that is trying to jumpstart a few other young players
To me getting a proven all star would be the smart move, and best move for the long term career of Wiggins..

LeBron IS Scottie Pippen.
A guy who barely averaged 20pts per game, never won a mvp, or came close to winning a scoring title. But in your screwed up head you see Pippen in Lebron.. I guess in your world Wade was Jordan and he was the one carrying the Heat…
