Description:
Manage game night public relations activities and partner with MSG Facilities for in game set up. Coordinate media credentials, press requests and visiting team requirements. Write and publish NY Liberty Media Guide, Playoff Guide, game notes, season subscriber newsletter, NY Liberty website and other team publications. Write all press communications including press releases and media advisories pertaining to public relations, community relations and marketing events. Implementation of all community programs including Cheering for Children and league sponsored community initiatives.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of Public Relations and writing experience within the sports industry. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in basketball statistical analysis and game night experience required. Must also be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast paced environment. Must be proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher. Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as required.
