Sales and Marketing: Marketing
Marketing Programs Coordinator- Houston Texans (Houston, TX)
Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university required; three-five years administrative experience required; sports industry or marketing and promotions experience preferred
Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Basic Function: Responsible for assisting in marketing functions that pertain to events, gameday and outreach programs
Job Function (duties and responsibilities):
Organize and operate specific marketing events to include but not be limited to BPPB Tryouts, Cheerleader Tryouts, Draft Party, Football 101, Business Lunch Series)
Coordinate all training camp events and activities (including all community and hospitality events) and make determinations regarding logistical needs relating to fan attendance, vendor involvement, etc. (interactive games, autograph sessions, sponsor events and licensing needs; coordination with Reliant Park reps)
Recruit, hire and supervise summer training camp interns
Oversee and assist with specific Texans Week events as decided on an annual basis (City events, Taste of Victory, Pigskins & Pancakes)
Coordinate specific gameday entertainment responsibilities to include the scheduling and coordination og national anthem performers, color guard units, half-time performances, cheerleader/mascot/pep band activities and all other on-field presentations
Coordinate and manage the duties and activities of a staff of approximately eight gameday and event employees for in-Stadium promotional needs
Assist with the coordination of marketing credentials for gameday
Serve as Bull Pen Coordinator and hold Bull Pen Committee meetings to encourage fan integration on gamedays
Coordinate special projects/events from time to time as needed
Assist with all Lone Star Sports and Entertainment events.
Perform additional duties as may be assigned from time to time by various members of the Sales and Marketing department
