Brand Marketing Coordinator - Detroit Pistons/Palace Sports and Entertainment Service Company (Auburn Hills, MI)
Palace Sports & Entertainment Service Company has an immediate opening for a Brand Marketing Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING;
1. Coordinating various team promotions, events and programs.
2. Assisting with Detroit Shock sales and marketing functions.
3. Developing sports and entertainment promotions to increase ticket sales and fan avidity.
4. Writing and editing content for web applications, team collateral and press releases.
5. Developing effective media kits and implementing successful media runs.
6. Contributing to the layout, content and analysis of e-newsletters.
7. Assisting as the public relations arm for Year Round Hoops.
8. Acting as a liaison between Creative Group and Palace Sports and Entertainment
9. Providing supervision and assistance to department interns.
10. Performing various administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling appointments, doing mailings and completing expense reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ideal candidates will have at least one to two years of administrative experience.
2. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the sports and entertainment industry.
3. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
4. Candidates must be able to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
5. This is a business dress environment. Candidates must be professional in appearance and communications.
6. Ability to handle highly confidential information is required.
7. Candidates must have the ability to receive directions and requests from multiple sources and effectively prioritize their work.
