RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
The Fan Development & Youth Marketing Assistant will be responsible for researching trends and strategies in the area of grassroots and youth marketing. This position will also assist with the planning and execution of Fan Development (street tour) events and youth marketing initiatives (kids club, kids’ themed game nights, college marketing, etc). Additionally, this position will assist the Director of Fan Development in supervising and leading the part-time staff and complete departmental administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree required; coursework / concentration in Marketing preferred. Prior experience in the area of promotions and marketing is critical. Creative and exceptional research skills required to help seek out the newest trends in the area of youth marketing. Leadership skills, ability to multi-task and an outgoing attitude a must. General knowledge of hockey and basketball preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, Power Point) and have the ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
