  • Asia Vester charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon
  • Vester is accused of pulling a gun on McDonald's workers in Memphis after they added ketchup to her order instead of jelly

A McDonald's diner in Memphis was seeing red when she noticed that employees at the fast-food eatery added ketchup to her order instead of jelly.

The unsatisfied customer, identified as 20-year-old Asia Vester, was allegedly so enraged by the condiment mix-up that she reached for her gun and pointed it at three McDonald's employees.

The incident took place on November 25 at the McDonald's located at 1959 Whitten Road.

Vester was arrested on Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.

According to an arrest affidavit cited by WREG, Vester ordered food in the drive-thru line at the eatery.

When she received her order and saw ketchup instead of jelly inside the bag, Vester allegedly became upset and confronted McDonald's staff.

Some words were exchanged and the dispute culminated with Vester allegedly pointing a gun at the workers.

No shots were fired and Vester eventually drove off.

Police were called to the scene and obtained surveillance video from the restaurant, which purportedly showed Vester pulling the gun on the staffers.
