Wolverine 3 is Old Man Logan

I think that's the reason, why Marvel canceled the Fantastic Four in the comics,so they can discourage Fox from making anymore movies.

Can you imagine the Fantastic Four in the MCU,plus the current titles they have now.

It's only a matter of time, when Marvel get all their characters back, especially,if Fox keeps fucking up the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies

Whenever, Marvel get the rights back for X-Men and Fantastic Four..

:itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:

I'll tell u what only fox could mess up deadpool at this point...

And it still quite possible.

If they rush or get cheap...

This exactly the time to negotiate from a position of power.

Because a flop puts fox right back to square one...deadpool succeeded BECAUSE fox stayed out of it.

yall complain about damn near every superhero movie...they keep doing numbers tho...and for the record I liked the wolverine flick when he was in japan...looking forward to this

I liked that one too. I'm just curious as to how they do this story. Gonna be very original.

its an ambitious story and would be the right note to end Jackson's run as wolverine but i am more than dubious that they can pull this off

It’s a big year for internecine conflict in the Marvel Comics universe. In May, factions led by Captain America and Iron Man will come to blows in Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Civil War,” which is inspired by the “Civil War” comics series of 2006-07. In June, meanwhile, the publishing side of the business will kick off “Civil War II.”

While the first “Civil War” series focused on the Superhero Registration Act — Iron Man was for it, and Captain America was against it — “Civil War II” begs a question similar to the one at the center of Steven Spielberg’s Philip K. Dick adaptation “Minority Report”: Even if you can predict the future with near-100% accuracy, should you punish people for crimes before they happen?

A mysterious new Marvel character comes to the attention of the world, one who has the power to calculate the outcome of future events with a high degree of accuracy. This predictive power divides the Marvel heroes on how best to capitalize on this aggregated information …

This time, Captain Marvel is leading the fight to profile potential criminals and stopping their crimes before they happen. Iron Man, on the other hand, says you can’t mete out punishment before a crime actually occurs.

The event, written by Brian Michael Bendis (“Spider-Man,” “Guardians of the Galaxy”) and drawn by David Marquez (“Invincible Iron Man”), will involve just about every character in the Marvel Comics universe, including Old Man Logan, an aged version of the mutant once known as Wolverine. Bendis also wrote the Old Man Logan series that debuted last year. Check out exclusive art of the character below:

I dont want the X-Men in the MCU.

They wouldnt fit in, as the Inhumans have basically ripped off that storyline already.

I gotta go read that Old Man Logan series now.

Rumor of the Day: X-23 to make her debut in The Wolverine 3
Looks like Hugh Jackman’s adamantium-clad mutant and Sir Patrick Stewart’s Professor X will be joined by another X-Man in The Wolverine 3.

A new report over at SuperHeroHype claims that X-23 will make her big-screen debut in Jackman’s third and final solo outing as the Canadian mutant. They also caution that this hasn’t been confirmed yet, so remember to take it with a grain of salt.

However, based on yesterday’s report over at ComicBook.com that a casting call from Central Casting had gone out and that they were looking for shorter stand-ins of “Caucasian, Hispanic and Asian looking females over the age of 21,” specifically at a height of 4' - 4'11" and size 0-4 with dark brown hair,” there could be some truth to that. And if Jackman is really hanging up his claws for good, this could be the way for Fox to create a passing of the baton type of situation.

So, who is X-23?

In the Marvel Comics, Laura Kinney, aka X-23, is a female clone of Wolverine who first appeared in the animated series X-Men: Evolution before making her comic-book debut in the NYX comic series in 2004. Like Logan, X-23 has a healing factor as well as superhuman strength, speed, senses, agility and reflexes. She also has retractable adamantium-clad bone claws. But where Logan has three, X-23 boasts two claws on each hand and one on each foot.

Yep. Really.

Cloned from a damaged copy of Wolverine’s genome after the first 22 attempts failed, she became the first viable embryo -- hence her being female (they couldn't extract the Y chromosome) and her code name -- X-23 was created to be a perfect killing machine and worked as an assassin for an organization called the Facility. A series of events led her to Wolverine's door, and she attended Xavier’s school and became a member of X-Force. When Logan died in 2015, X-23 took up Wolverine's mantle.

Said to be loosely based on the “Old Man Logan” comics storyline and, thanks to Deadpool’s crazy success at the box office earlier this year, the superhero film will be rated R. Boyd Holbrook will play the movie’s lead villain.

Directed by James Mangold from a screenplay by David James Kelly, The Wolverine 3 is set to open on March 3, 2017.
