With the possible automation looming what's the best programing language to learn

Hi fam
We know automation is looming over the horizon, probably less than 4 years away, and that is going to eliminate LOTS of jobs for us common working folk.
I'm a lot of talk of others talk of going into the programming field as the next viable option to make a decent living but there's a lot out there so what would your recommend or those who are studying what language have chosen to focus on?

Really depends on location and desired segement as far as job demand goes.

JavaScript would be a good place to start to learn. It's easy to get started and pretty much runs everywhere now.

Truthfully if you can learn one language and become productive with it you can quickly pick up others.

I work in Java all day but its much easier to get things done in a lot less code and to grasp the concept of object oriented programming by starting with Python
