episode list:ansatsusha_gouki said:The 9th episode of Game of Thrones: A Storm of Swords (Season 3) is called "The Rains of Castamere" Based on that I am sure the book readers understand what will happen in that episode.
People who have not read the books, but understand that "The Rains of Castamere" is a song but more importantly what the song means can guess what will happen in that episode but maybe not know the exact events.
Another episode based of a song is: "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" Again, you will be able to guess one major event that happens in this episode if you have read the book.
People who have not read the books, need only to look at the second word in the title and watch the trailer to understand what will happen. Of course they don't know the outcome.
"Mhysa", is the last episode of the season. It is Low Valyrian and means "Mother" anyone whether you read the books or watch the show should be able to figure out who that is. Of course book readers can imagine what will happen in this episode.
The 2 episodes "Kissed by Fire" and "And Now His Watch is Ended" are sure to focus on something colder and much darker in the series. The term kissed by fire is 100% not new to anyone who has read the books. Don't watch that episode with your parents.
"Walk of Punishment" is not looking like to be the most exciting episode. However I have read some of synopsis for the episodes and it does not seem like that the show is following the book 100%. This means scenes that were not in the book. This will sure make this episode more interesting than I can predict. Plus Varys is important to this episode, and who does not like Eunuchs.
"Dark Wings, Dark Words" the second episode is going to be... wait for it... a DARK episode. "Dark wings, dark words" is an old saying about messenger-ravens, referring to the fact that such urgently delivered messages are often bad news. However I don't think this episode will be much about the Nights Watch but more an episode that foreshadows all the bad things to come.
The first episode is "Valar Dohaeris" and "Valar Dohaeris" is High Valyrian, the response phrase to "Valar Morghulis", the title of the Season 2 finale. Commonly used in Braavos, "valar morgulis" means "all men must die" (in the sense of "all men must [eventually] die [sooner or later]"), and "valar dohaeris" means "all men must serve".
1 "Valar Dohaeris"
2 "Dark Wings, Dark Words"
3 "Walk of Punishment"
4 "And Now His Watch is Ended"
5 "Kissed by Fire"
6 "The Climb"
7 "The Bear and the Maiden Fair"
8 tba
9 "The Rains of Castamere"
10 "Mhysa"
For book readers - we know what this line up means... a lot of characters die this season not including the rw... and a lot of really nasty ones get introduced... GRRM wrote ep7 and its supposed to not be based on or from the book, so I'm real curious to see that story. I can't wait to see:
the Unsullied
Strong Bellwas and companion
Bloody Mummers sans Vargo Hoat (retconned as Locke)
the tragic death of Mormont and desved death of Craster
Night's Watch vs White Walkers n Others - first real battle...
Other than rw -what are y'all looking forward to?
