its been a while since i've done it...but back in the day...you used to be able to change your icons...windows came with like 4-5 options for each..and then you could download a bunch more...

but even if you don't plan on usin' windows 10 immediately...why not jus download it for free..get your product code...and stash it away...

that way if you wanna upgraded a year or two from now..you can...

versus...havin' to pay $100 or $150 ...to get it...

i don't think it's gonna be free forever...

Since I woke up this morning there is now a "Get Windows 10" notification in the tray next to the time. I'm going to wait a while though. I just recently started using Windows 8.1 since my favorite system needed to be replaced so I don't mind holding off for a few weeks or months. I wouldn't even have kept the Windows 8 installing but its a touch screen so I let it rock. Shit I might wait a year or two before upgrading to Windows 10.

Not all of us. I want the rest of you guys to stay over "there". Allowing everyone on a Windows box by default to be superuser will always ensure I have a backup to put food on my table.

Hope they will give an iso image option like they did for 7 and 8.

The upgrade will have to be flawless and the OS is rock solid
or they will have a Vista like issue on their hands.
