I am looking for someone good with graphics to design me a logo for my new soul food restaurant. I will give you all the details below and you can use your own creativity. We can work out a payment via pay pal if I select your design. You can e-mail me your design with watermark or you can post here for all to see.

Restaurant Name: "Slap yo momma BBQ & Soul food."

Slogan: "True taste of fall off the bone BBQ"

What I am looking for is something funny, can be animated, clip art looking etc... It is a Black owned and operated business so ethnic art/graphics are cool.

Let me know what you come up with.

I can dig it homie I just paid the 47 to get some designs from the first link maybe this will work out. But good looking for the info, sometimes communication is the key if I was a designer and saw this post I would think well maybe the brotha don't know the process so tell you what....

Send me this $$$ up front I will work on some stuff for you (here is my portfolio and your money is non-refundable)and not just get slick and start talkin like a brotha just asked for something for free.... Man this internet shit ain't for err body.. good lookin out for your input tho.

Since I am in the Market and looking for some design I would love to see some protfolio's (also looking for a new album cover design) the person I usually use work can be seen at vipergfx.com I just don't want the same old look and eveyone is now using him so I wanna to try someone else.

It's fuckin' BANANAS! There's LOTS of design work I turn down and won't consider doing because DESPERATE ASS DESIGNERS sank the game to unfathomable lows . . .

Game is so bad right now that EVEN if I "discount" my hourly rate I STILL get looked at as if I go 7 cataract filled eyeballs on my forehead.


Design has been reduced to a joke. SMH at cats selling DESIGN SERVICES like it's the prize in a box of Cracker Jacks. The moistness continues.

Message to designers: if you're not being paid upfront then don't take the job, period. Also, limit the amount of revisions that will be made. If the client wants additional revisions then they need to be charged extra.

I agree with John Gault, the game is really fucked up right now. There are guys out here designing logos for $47?? Are you serious?? These kats need to stop with these "fleamarket" prices.

I've been using www.thelogoloft.com for my design needs and have been satisfied w/ them.
I'm sure y'all "designer" niggas aint churning out work that is much better than these sites. Fuck outta here w/ your whining.
 
dudes talking shit and bitchin but ain't dropped their portfolio, website, or someshit. you niggaz ain't hustlers. you don't always have to compete on price if you offer better service. but do something.

They're really professional and have good customer service. I've used them several times.

As for the BGOL "designers", where are your portfolios? Y'all mad as fuck cause you can no longer jerk people around by charging them a arm and a leg for subpar work. Fuck outta here.
 
I can refer you to logo guys if you aren't satisfied with what you get. I personally don't take on logo jobs anymore because I don't have the time with my 9-5.

However, if you do need flyers/cd covers or general print design, I have some samples up at www.inkrediblenyc.com and some other stuff at www.myspace.com/lionellbarry if you'd like to check them out.

I was just about to say the samething. Not one dude dropped any website or portfolio of their work. I would have already dropped my info if I could design. Niggas got to take advantage of free plugs

It's all good fam I can respect it anyone wants to be paid for what they are good at should be no question. I am opening the sould food spot and will charge becasue I feel that I have what it takes to make cats lick they fingers ya dig...:lol: but it's all god I might have to put a bgol plate on the menu for real! The folx over at Logonerds.com are taking their fucking time and they don't have a phone number. I think I also choose the wrong package because I am finding out that I need character creation not just a logo...:hmm:

You might have...rates are different depending on whether you just want a type treatment, a symbol, a custom character, or some hybrid of those three options. Make sure you don't get charged twice for something you could have paid for once outright.

Yeah it's cool I saw what they dropped me and it sucked so I am going another way I will post what I have being made soon.

I wanted a black character created to be the logo. I did not know that was what I needed until a fellow BGOL member helped me out he has started to create it and man it's impressive. Im excited :dance::dance::dance:

Heads up!

The do good work and they only charge the amount they advertise although I won't be going with what they sent me I wanted to say they jumped right on it and did a coo job. Just wasnt what I needed they did their thing.
