Will ADRIEN PETERSON be great in the NFL?

I feel that Peterson will be the best prospect coming out this coming draft if he choses to come out this year. Also, I feel that he is the most talented running back to come out since LaDainian Tomlinson.


With his combination of size, speed and strength, he has the potential to be the next Eric Dickerson.

I love watching this guy run the ball. It was very heart breaking to see his season shortened due to another injury. I feel as if he really would have gave Troy Smith a run for his money prior to the injury.

I have to admit that I had somewhat the same feelings about Reggie Bush. I actually would have felt bad for him if he was drafted by the Texans. They would have ran him to injury. He is not the type of back who can run the ball 25 plus time a game, or milk the clock when having a lead late in the game. YES he is an exciting, explosive, and a highlight machine, which is why the Saints was the perfect team for him to go to. With a very good RB like Deuce McAllister to carry most of the load, he is a great change of pace back.

Adrian Peterson on the other hand.... he could be a combination of the both. Which is why I'd consider him the next Dickerson.

If he can stay healthy. Fucked up part of his injury aside from ending his season was that his pops had just come out of jail being locked for 12yrs or so. Watching Darrien McFadden the whole season, that kid's got similar potential, if not more....

He COULD be great but not many people will take a look at him if he does not keep his body healthy. The kid has amazing skills, but if you can not stay healthy it will not get you far. Also I have to disagree that you say about Reggie Bush. The man will be a starter, not now only because he does not have an NFL- ready type of body. That is because USC didn't need him that size due to White, but once Bush can add those pounds on him, than I think he could very well be the next Barry or LaDainian Tomlinson.

If he stays healthy he should be just fine.You never know how a guy will be in the league.I thought Tyrone Wheatley would be the shit and he never became a pro bowl back and I think that he and Peterson are similar.
