I've been warning people about Chrome for years, months and days. I use SrWare Iron for Radio Garden, media and tube sites mostly. When I want that Google Chrome feel and function. Though I never check my email from it or do research. I have browsers I use for specific reasons and functions.

Must have browser add ons for me are Ghostery, Ublock Origin and HTTPS Everywhere.
Its how Google makes their money. Ditched Chrome a while ago.
My favorite add on is NOSCRIPT. That runs on Firefox and Palemoon. That is a must have on browsers I use to check email and surf.
The only thing I use Chrome for is to access BGOL on my IPad. Sounds like it might be problematic, huh?

I've heard this before and I really don't care, I got a free browser office automation software frigging navigation software, groupware and video conferencing for nothing.
They can give me custom ads all day. No problem there. Office automation and email alone is worth about $500.00. We used to buy Navigation systems for $250 and then spend $50-$100 to update it from time to time.

Current version. No addons. Slows down to a crawl quite a bit. Will crash at times but most times I just wait for whatever is going on to clear.
you got something wrong i'm using a cheap laptop with low memory and low storage
firefox is way faster than chrome or edge on my shit
when it slows down i use ccleaner(free)and i'm good
I run a couple add ons and rarely have any problem. I'm running at least 16gb ram on all my PC's.
