Naw that is the reality right now. More women are graduating from college than men, and more women are becoming the breadwinner in the family.

Almost every family struggles financially at some point. When a female breadwinner talks about her struggles to friends and family they're always going to ask some version of "Why do you keep that dead weight around the house?"
When a male breadwinner talks to his people about the his family's financial struggles he gets asked "Why don't you be a man and get a second job?" (Back when I was married this was the advice I got from BGOL and others)
Also, when a man is bringing home the bacon he can do very little wrong. He can go to a strip club, come home a little loaded now and then watch football on Sundays, have a poker night with the guys and it's all good.
