That's all fine and dandy until they come against new 5th and 6th generation planes and air defenses from China, Russia and probably North Korea.. Sheer numbers may be overwhelming, but how many are "stealth"?? Hell with the Chinese "rare earth" ban, it pretty much nullifies what the planes can actually do outside of nukes..
US has technology superiority over every country on the planet, then they have the biggest military budget as well. We may have more "advanced" than everyone else, but to win a war, you have to put boots on the ground.. and the US has basically lost every time going into other countries. We keep talking about US MOAB, but the Russians have the FOAB which is 4 times as powerful. The Chinese have just developed an H-Bomb without the nuclear fallout, and works by having a sustained reaction (miniature sun) that doesn't just have kinetic energy, but burns for several seconds, not just a fraction of a second like nukes. Now imagine these as hypersonic missile warheads.. It's not nuclear proliferation, so sharing/selling the tech to its allies is fair game..

Chinese researchers have successfully detonated a hydrogen-based explosive device in a controlled field test, triggering devastating chemical chain reactions without using any nuclear materials, according to a study published last month.
The 2kg (4.4lbs) bomb generated a fireball exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius (1,832 degrees Fahrenheit) for more than two seconds – 15 times longer than equivalent TNT blasts – without using any nuclear materials, it said.
Developed by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s (CSSC) 705 Research Institute, a key player in underwater weapon systems, the device uses a magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage material.
This material – a silvery powder known as magnesium hydride – stores considerably more hydrogen than a pressurised tank. It was originally developed to bring the gas to off-grid areas, where it could power fuel cells for clean electricity and heat.
When activated by conventional explosives, the magnesium hydride underwent rapid thermal decomposition, releasing hydrogen gas that ignited into a sustained inferno, the researchers said in a peer-reviewed paper published in the Chinese-language Journal of Projectiles, Rockets, Missiles and Guidance.
“Hydrogen gas explosions ignite with minimal ignition energy, have a broad explosion range, and unleash flames that race outward rapidly while spreading widely,” said the team, led by CSSC research scientist Wang Xuefeng.

You also seem to not take the supply chain into accord. That is how Germany lost WWII. They ran out of fuel while trying to overtake Stalingrad. The US is in the same boat. Nukes are really the only thing we have. Having the largest air force in the world doesn't mean a thing when the maintenance/costs are their greatest weakness. US stockpiles of it's advanced missiles are getting to a point to where they can't afford to share with it's "allies". They need certain "rare earths" that have to go through the Chinese "supply chain" to make more of those missiles and other kinetics. That is what is going on with Israel/Iran. Israel has the more advanced defensive capabilities, yet Iran basically DDoS'ed their infrastructure with lower value kinetics to overwhelm then which results in a failover, then hit them with the real weapons. Even with our vast stockpiles, we won't win a war of attrition. Also, remember, those jets also require the use of fuel, which is another whole issue.

China's tech is inferior to the US which is why they copy from the US. The US will not run out off jet fuel any time soon and one way to solve that is to just take the resources needed. We've seen that before right? As far as logistics go you know who else having logistics issues? China and their (ahem) blue water Navy. I served in the Air Force. Yes, the US definitely has the most planes but a huge amount of those units are support. That means Cargo, Surveillance, Recon, Transport, etc. In order to field a global military force the US needs just as many support planes as they have war planes.

The Taliban was moving in support equipment from Pakistan thru out the war.
Full air support came thru and they were unable to close out the routes going thru the mountains.
Heavy ordnance was dropped in them mountains and they were still moving supplies in and they were moving Opium out to fund their war effort.
The US couldn’t destroy the Opium fields with all the air power they had.
