Re: why none of the females took advantage or even showed interest. Females Respnse
you are so right about that. it was here at bgol where my interests in stocks started. i was doing the auto investment with sharebuilder, before the layoffs started and then me having a cut in my pay.
i'm wondering if to continue by taking a bit of my mthly savings.
when i was doing the auto investment SPY was 145-150, now its 80-95.
i like the safe boring stocks too.
i saw your first post about the 500, but didn't have it to spare, actually
i did in my savings, but i never touch that unless i, really, really needed to.
in hindsight it wouldn't have been a problem to move that money there
and back in 6mths.
another option i'm looking at since i have fam in trinidad is opening a
unit trust account there. 5% for US accounts. http://www.ttutc.com/
While I agree this is online, I do know so significant relationships that have developed online. From mariages to huge deals. Yes I know there is scams too but there are scams right in your face and as an earlier poster pointed out that the biggest scam was carried by someone people have met face to face. Seems online we approach things more skeptical and therefore use caution and do a little more research.
BGOL started out as us just sharing naked pics and gif files till we started talking shit and found out others had similar interest and then the board grew into something more than just pix and gifs.
There has been so much that we have gained because others have shed a little about their interst. They have found others doing the same things and the sharing begins.
When ING just started I was sharing with folks this similar kind of promo and folks that it was too good to be true and/or they didn't trust this online stuff.
Back then all they had to do was open the account with $1 and get $50.
So I hope folks stick around this board so we can continue to learn more about each other and therefore be able to grow personally because someone has shared a little more of themselves with us. Sometimes what they may bring to us is something that cause us to return to basics or back to what's important or something that propels us to the next level.
