Why is it So many black men got fucked up skin around the beard area?

I feel lucky that i've never had to deal with that shit but everyday i go out i see cats with ingrowns and dark spots all over the beard area. Is it a neglect thing or are some folks just born like that?
 
Because they try to use shaving products made for crackas. Women have the same fucked up shit.. its called a perm and can burn their scalp.

Really its neither but then again I guess it just depends on your grade of hair or whatever.My shit is fucked up in a few spots from ingrowns and I gotta pull em out on the daily.I got two chicks who I fuck with just to pull hairs out my face.The bumps look fucked up if I dont.

I been thinkin about gettin that laser treatment and just rockin a goatee from here to forever.If I had hair like a rican or some shit it wouldnt be a problem.

i agree but just to end this stupid thread i will answer him.

black men have curly hair on the face. this hair , if not cut , can and does , grow back into the face , causing what is called an ingrown hair. these ingrown hairs cause bumps on the face.:hmm:

Most Blacks have very different hair than Whites so they can't shave like most Whites and expect the same type of results.

Blackfolks curly to kinky hairs can't be shaved against the grain or they will become ingrown. That is what you are seeing, incorrect shaving techniques.

Its caused by sensitive skin, and coarse hair. Shaving with products made for white men makes it worse. Most of the time you cant help it tho. The best thing for black men to use is a depilatory that comes in cream form, and takes the hair off like Nair would.

just copped one of these merkur's 2 weeks ago. NO BUMPS!! i might have to retire the t-outliners. leave those multiple mach blades alone. go single edge

i'm now conteplating on going full bootyface aka tiki barber [fully clean shaved]

but it's a weird look on me :dunno:

Basically.

Can't shave the hairs so close and deep like white people do.

Luckily I don't have that problem. Gotta stop using razors first of all and start using trimmers and don't cut the hair so close.

Indeed mk23666. In the Marine Corps there were many Brothers put out because of this problem. I was able to maintain some comfort using magic shave.

The army will give them a chance to stay with a medical clearance (profile) saying that they can have a beard up to a specific length. Usually a 1/4 inch growth.

I have one myself, but I shave with t-edgers every 3 days to keep myself right.

I find this to be 100% true , doesn't matter if I shave with the grain or not ....if I don't cut it too close to the skin I gets no bumps and I don't let the barber shop cut it either because they cut way too close. I also use a buff pad three times a week to keep it clear and bump free. The alternative is to grow a beard.
