Scotty Kilmer, mechanic for the last 46 years, shows why he hates the use of plastic car parts in modern cars. Cheaper parts are not always better for those owning the cars. And, If you like my car help, be sure to watch my live car talk show every Saturday morning at 10 AM CST on YouTube. I answer your car questions LIVE there. Just check it out at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vognj... . And remember, every TUESDAY I upload a new video, so don't miss them.

Are YOU Scotty Kilmer or is he paying YOU

Lol...probably couldn't find a 30 yr old Ford\Chevy\Chrysler to use. They all fell apart about 20 years ago:lol:
in general 80s Ford GM Chryslers were garbage- there were a few exceptions... but the examples he showed are true of every major car maker. no matter US German Japanese Korean

The transmission on My dodge and my boss's Lexus went out around the same mileage. mine actually went out first and I got about 10,000 more miles out of mine....1xx,xxx miles. He decided to trade his in since they wanted 8 grand for the transmission. I paint 2 grand for mine and final got ride of it at 230,000 miles. That car is still running.
