In every country in the world, except Nigera--where on average woman and men die at the same age, women outlive men. Moreover, excluding African countries, woman outlive men by an average of six years. I would think that child birth, especially if a woman has more than two children, would shorten their life spans. Moreover, it seems that the effects of menstruation, menopause, and other female conditions would shorten women's lives.
Moreover, woman labor just as hard, and perhaps even harder in undeveloped countries. So, any argument to the effect that woman live longer because they don't work as hard doesn't make much sense. So why do woman live longer?
To stress my point infra are some country profiles that I copied from the BBC.
