I think it's because rap music is male driven. Basically you have male rappers who make music to appeal to male consumers. The content you hear in a lot of records is similar to what you might hear in a locker room.

Now when a woman enters that kind of forum you basically have to of one of two things to assert your status. 1) you either play the slut role or 2) you become untouchable.

I think you missed the point a little here though. All of us men who post pics and make comments on this board all have mothers, sisters, daughters, girlfriends, wives, and other important women in our lives. Most of us NEVER act towards them the way we act on this board. We go here to share those small segments of our personalities that women aren't meant to see. We express frustrations and fantasies that women aren't meant to hear. We hang out and let all that disgusting energy out of us so that we can switch off our computers, go back into society, and be decent human beings again. It's the same thing with the rap game.

That's not to say that women can't hang, but at the same time you can't expect rappers or the men here to act like gentlemen because that's not what we come here to do.

Also, men have finally woken up to the fact that it's easier to earn the respect and admiration of women if you act like a misogynistic asshole. Ask the average woman if she would rather fuck Common or 50 cent and you'll see what I mean.

Finally, there's a big difference between being a lesbian and not wanting anything to do with men. Personally, I'm about to make a big move that requires hard work and concentration. That's why I've decided not to fuck, date, or holler at any woman until at least the end of the year. That doesn't make me gay because I'm not hollering at men either.
