Not in depth, but as far as owning a property just for the land appreciation and doing minimal maintenance to the existing structure....yeah I've been doing that for the last 7 years.

When i sell it'll likely be to a developer who's just gonna knock over the property and redevelop it so why fix everything?

The land is worth more than the property so to speak.
