with just about 4 weeks left in the season, i believe the worstern conference will be decided by seeding and home court. if that assumption is correct (as opposed to the outcome being a question of strictly which is the best team in the west), then the SW division will have the greatest influence.

so then, gentlemen, who do you think will take the division?

when all is said and done, though i may be completely wrong, i feel it boils down to the rockets and the hornets.

i'm going to guess the rockets will take the SW division, in part because they play A LOT of patsies AND the hornets only have 4 home games left the rest of the way.

Starts With An L

what team in the SW starts with an L?

if you meant the fakers, they are in the PUSSific division, and will most likely keep their spot as division leader. i can't see the suns overtaking them, considering that 10 of the suns remaining 13 games are against teams .500 or better and many of those being road games.

do you care to offer a prediction on the fakers' final win-loss record?

i don't believe the fakers will win the WORSTern conference outright. barring injuries of course, i believe that both the rockets and the hornets (in that order) have a better chance at finishing/emerging as the conference champion.

LA playin strong, beatin hornets n' spurs. but damn without gasol they lost some games they should have won. but if phil works the zen n' they stay healthy workin bynum into the mix n' handles shit, i don't see anyone in the west beating LA in a series, BUT damn do they scare me sometimes when they lose to memphis or other weak ass teams n' beat good teams, or lose a 30 point lead. if everyone brings their A game a good ol lakers vs celtics would be a dope series, can't front on that haterrrrs

future HOF coach popovich echoed my own opinion when said this about pau gasol:

"He makes it all come together," said San Antonio Coach Gregg Popovich, "in the sense that when you've got a big guy in the triangle who can pass, catch and shoot the way he does, he's not just an offensive threat.

"He creates spacing for the triangle which is great. He's somebody who passes out of it. It just gets everybody involved the right way, gets everybody enthused and confident.

"Everybody touches the ball. It leads people to move the ball more because they think there's going to be open people on the court. He brings all of that with his skills, and that makes it special.
"

who's hating? now that mitch kupchak finally got lamar odom some help, the fakers are showing what the triangle can really do. it's NEVER been a mystery. as long as the fakers can prevent tobe from hijacking the O, they have a chance to outscore anybody.
